AUI Contractors, a full-service general contractor serving the public and private sectors, has promoted Mitch Chappell to director of civil construction services and Tony Rader to director of sales and marketing and hired Mario Carbone as director of construction services
In a new position of director of sales and marketing, Rader is responsible for developing a marketing and sales plan, building a sales team and overseeing all marketing and sales activities for AUI. Since joining AUI in 1997, Rader has worked in a variety of positions, including project manager, estimator and, most recently, director of commercial construction where he oversaw all of AUIs commercial projects.
Chappells new responsibility as director of civil construction services is to oversee all civil operations including financial reporting, manage civil organizational charts and people. He was promoted from civil group manager. Since joining the Company in 2001, Chappell has led his construction teams to successful completion of projects for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and numerous municipal and private clients. Recently, he managed a team that received an Award of Merit from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) annual National Excellence in Construction Awards for their White Rock Lake pedestrian bridge project.
