Admission Notice for MD / MS-2007

An entrance test on all India basis will be held on 18th February 2007 at Varanasi for admission to MD / MS courses in the subjects i.e. Anesthesiology (G: 2*), Community medicine (PSM) (G:1), Dermatology& VD (G:1) General medicine (G:1, SC:1), General surgery (G:1, SC:1), Ophthalmology (SC-1), Orthopedics (ST-1), Pathology (G:1) Pharmacology (G:1) and Psychology (G:1), (*Number of Seat may increase G=General, SC=Schedule Caste, ST=Schedule Tribe). The subjects declared above are provisional and may vary without assigning any reason. Eligibility: MBBS pass (MCI recognized) with one year rotating internship completed by 30.04.2007. Those who have passed MD/MS (Post Graduates) are not eligible.

Application form can be either downloaded from BHU website free of cost ( www.bhu.ac.in) or can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU Varanasi 221005 from 20.11.2006 by sending a self addressed unstamped envelope (24×30 cm) and a DD of Rs.100.00 in favour of Director, IMS, BHU payable at Varanasi by post till 21.12.2006 and in person till 30.12.2006, Envelop for the form-request should be marked as MD/MS FORM-REQUEST. Duly completed application form (all the four pages) including 3 photographs and the application fee must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 30.12.2006.
