Exam Details: All India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association (E-Mail: itsaimeca@yahoo.co.in) is conducting AICET-Entrance Examination for UG and PG courses. As per the directions of the Honble 7 Judges Bench of the Honble Supreme Court of India W.P.(C) No. 251/2004, the candidates will be saved from lot of expenditure, mental agony due to hundred of competitive examinations. The candidates should use only one application and they can write one and only examination conducted by AIMECA for joining any college all over India. The aspirants will not be required to have several examination in several places scattered all over India. For more information logon at www.aimeca.org and www.aicet.org.

Eligibility: The candidates must have passed or likely to be passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics individually at the qualifying examinations. Those who have taken plus two examinations in the year 2003, 2004 & 2005 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.

How To Apply: Candidates can download the application form from the websites www.aicet.org, www.aimeca.org or obtain the Information Booklet and Application Form by Speed/ Registered Post directly from the below mentioned address in comment section by sending a written request along with the Demand Draft. The DD should be sent for Rs. 1100/- (Rs. 250/- for application, Rs. 750/- for Examination and Rs. 100/-for Postage) to be drawn in favour of “AIMECA” payable at Chennai to the below mentioned address.

Important Dates: Issue of Applications/ Registration will commence from 17th November 2005. Date of Examination is 27 May 2006 and 28 May 2006.

JNU to conduct entrance exams from May 15

Admission season in capital will begin with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducting its entrance examinations across the 75 centres in India and abroad. The entrance exams will be conducted from May 15 to May 18.

We will be going to places like Bhutan and Colombo and plan to include more offshore centres in the near future, said JNU Vice Chancellor Mr. B.B. Bhattacharya.

Approximately 98,000 students will be appearing for the entrance examination this year which is far more than the number of admission seekers the previous year. The varsity will offer approximately 1500 seats in 100 different programmes.

In exercise of the powers conferred under regulation 5 (8) of Veterinary Council of India-Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course (BVSc&AH) Regulations, 1993, the Veterinary Council of India shall conduct the All India Common Entrance Examination (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) for filling up 15% of the total number of seats of the Veterinary Colleges for the academic session-2006-2007 on Saturday, the 13th May, 2006 (time 2 to 5 P.M.) at different centres throughout the country. A detailed notification containing the eligibility criteria, age, availability & last date of submission of Application Form etc. will be issued on 7th December, 2005 in the leading Newspapers. The information shall also be available on the website of the Council (www.vci.nic.in)
