Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to be held on 15th April 2006 (Saturday).

Many of the M.Tech Programmes are run in collaboration with well known Universities in Aachen, Dresden, Karlsruhe, Esslingen, Darmastadt (all in Germany), Monash & Sydney (Australia), East London, Glamorgan and Sunderland (all in UK), Compiegne (France) and Concordia (Canada).

Admission to the above M.Tech programmes will be on the basis of entrance marks.
Candidates with valid Gate Scores Exempted from appearing for the Entrance Examination.

Eligibility for MCA M.Tech:

A pass in the qualifying Bachelors Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Application Process will start on 15th February 2006.

The Head Post Offices of Allahabad, hennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune and Vellore, by cash payment of Rs. 800/-

VIT-by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore, to the Admissions Officer with full address of the applicant.

Candidates appearing for final Examination in April/May 2006 can also apply.

Few seats are reserved for the eligible candidates for M.Tech Dgree Programmes sponsored by research organizations/Industries.

Last date submission ofcompleted applications/registration is 25th March 2006.

Eligibility for M.S Software Engineering :
A pass in Higher Secondary Exam (H.Sc.) either state or Central board of Secondary Education with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM)

An view of high demand and limited seats for this course, its suggested only those scoring an average of 70% (PCM) and above apply.

Selection is based on marks in H.Sc, and there is no separate entrance examination.
