1. MBA (Pharm.Tech.) A full time five-year integrated programme in Pharmaceutical Technology specially designed for those students who are looking for managerial skills in Pharmacy stream at NMIMS. The course will be predominantly based on presentations and interactions with a strong focus on the practical concepts of Pharmacy and Management. Students of Shirpur campus will be studying 4th & 5th year at NMIMS, Mumbai campus.

2. B. Pharm. A four year full time integrated programme in pharmacy with emphasis on industry / community pharmacy. The course will be predominantly based on practice and interaction with a strong focus on the healthcare system.

Eligibility: (for 1 & 2) 10+2 Science or Vocational Science Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates awaiting results may also apply.

Selection Procedure (for 1 & 2) Based on the performance in NMAT (T) 2007 scheduled to be held in April 2007 and subsequent evaluation of short-listed candidates.

Written Test Centres Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Subsequent Evaluation Process only at Mumbai

National Institute of Industrial Engineering Admission 2007

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) 37th Batch (2007-2009)

This two year programme develops Industrial Engineers as Technology Management experts for both manufacturing and service sectors. The programme covers subjects such as Supply Chain management, Six Sigma, Operations Management, Project Management, Logistics BPR, ERP and Software Engineering.

Eligibility & Selection:

Gate qualified 1st Class Engineering / Technology graduates in any branch. Gate qualified get Teaching Assistantship, Admission is based on Group Discussion and Interview with appropriate weightage given to Gate score. Selection of Industry Sponsored candidates with First Class Degree in Engineering / Technology (with a minimum of 2 years industry experience) is through personal interview only. Gate score is not required for Sponsored candidates.

2.Fellow (Doctoral) Programme(FP):

Areas: Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Operations Managment, Economics, Operations Research, IT, Ergonomics, Safely and Environmental Management.

The programme aims to admit, in the above areas of specialization, the individuals with sound academic background, strong motivation and potential to become excellent researchers at national and international level. Applicants are evaluated on their past academic achievements, motivation and preparation for the programme, seminar presentation on the area of his/her research interest and personal interview.

Eligibility:

Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering/ Technology, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Biological Science and Pure Science with First Class will be considered for admission to Fellow (Doctoral) Programme. Those appearing for their final examination in the respective disciplines can also apply.

Industry Sponsored candidates with above eligibility and a minimum of two years experience at executive level can also apply under external category. They will have to stay in the campus for a year to undergo full-time course work.

Financial Support & Fees:

Financial assistance is provided for all candidates for four years but not for external category. Reservation and 5% relaxation on 1st Class % marks are applicable to SC/ST/PD candidates as per Govt. of India rules for both the programmes. As per Govt. of India directive, NITIE has decided to introduce reservation for OBC candidates in phased manner from the academic year 2007-08.

For Fellow Programme, the reservation of OBC candidates will be as per Government of India rules.

Fulfilment of minimum qualifications is not an automatic claim for Group Discussion, Interview etc.
