Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, specializing in education and training in the field of Tourism, Travel and Air Cargo, invites application for admission to following two programmes which are well recognized by the trade and industry and are being run at its two centers viz. Gwalior and Bhubaneswar:
One year Post graduate Diploma in Tourism Management (PGDTM 2006-07)
Three Years Full Time Bachelor in Tourism Management (Hons.) {BTM (Hons.)} 2006-09 [course being run in collaboration with M.P.Bhoj (Open) University, Bhopal].

Reservation for SC/ST/PH- 15%/7.5%/3% as per rules.
Two seats in PGDTM Course are reserved for each of the 8 North Eastern States (10 seats at Gwalior and 6 at Bhubaneswar).

Eligibility for PGDTM: graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University. Those appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply, subject to qualifying the same before the start of the course.

Eligibility for BTM (Hons): 10+2 from any recognized Board of Education. Those appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply, subject to qualifying the same before the start of the course.

Admission Procedure: PGDTM: Admission to PGDTM will be made on the basis of overall performance in PGDTM written test to be conducted on All-India basis at specific Centers, followed by group discussion and personal interview. However, only those candidates would be called for GD and interviews at Gwalior or Bhubaneswar center who obtain specific qualifying marks in the written test. Decision of Director, IITTM in this regard will be final. The interview/Group Discussion may be organized sometime in the 1st/2nd week of May 2006.

BTM (Hons.): The admission to BTM (Hons) will be made on the basis of merit of candidate in written test, to be organized at specific locations. If need be, the candidates may also be subject to GD/ Personal Interview and admission in that case will be on the basis of combined score in written test, Group Discussion and Personal interview.

Application Procedure: Prospectus and application form can be obtained from Administrative Officer, IITTM, Govindpuri, Gwalior-474 011 or Administrator, IITTM ERC, Visitors Centre, Udyan Marg, Forest Park, Bhubaneswar-751 009 personally or by post, sending a written request along with demand draft payable to Director IITTM, Gwalior. However duly filled-in application forms should be sent to Gwalior Centre only.

Prospectus Fee: From Counter: Rs.600/-(Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates)
By Post: Rs.650/-(Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidates)

Application forms can also be downloaded from the institutes web site www.iittm.org Candidates applying on the application form downloaded from the web site of the institute must send a demand draft of Rs.650/-(Rs.350/- for SC/ST candidates with the certificate copy) along with the application. Applicants should clearly mention their address (in BLOCK letters) and Course in which admission/prospectus is sought.
