The Delhi University Medical Entrance Test (DUMET) for admission to Under-Graduate courses i.e. Hardinge Medical College will be held on Sunday, 21st May 2006 at Delhi interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form. The application form along with Bulletin of information (BOI) is obtainable form the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Science, 6th Floor, V.P chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a bank a bank Draft/Bankers cheque drawn an any Nationalized Bank in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi, in the following manner:

By hand for Rs.550 (rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) between 10:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M on all working days from 27th February 2006 to 3rd April 2006.

By post for Rs.600 (Rupees Six Hundred only) along with a self-addressed envelop of 10*8 up to 17th March 2006.

The Brochure containing information about the institute, syllabi for Entrance Test for different programmes and application form for Entrance Test is available from February 10, 2006 at SLIET, Longowal (Distt. Sangrur) 148 106, Punjab, on payment of Rs.325 at the institutes Counter or through Post by sending a Bank Draft of Rs.350 in favour of Director, SLIET, payable at Longowal/Sangrur. The complete application form along with examination fee (in the form of DD or cash receipt) of Rs.500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST) should be sent to the Chairman, SET-2006, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal 148 106, Distt. Sangrur (Punjab) on or before May 2, 2006.

Note:

For vertical Promation from lower module to higher module the SLIET students of certificate and Diploma Programmes shall have to appear in the Entrance Test, SET-IV and SET-V, respectively to be conducted on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at SLIET, Longowal only.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed 12 th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60 % marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English or whose results of Class XII are likely to be declared by mid July, 20006 are eligible to apply.

The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31 st December, 2006.

The prospectus-cum-Application Form Costing Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- in case Sc/St candidates) inclusive of examination fee can be obtained in the following manner

The Bank Draft issued by State Bank of India Should be drawn on State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687), New Delhi, and should be valid up to July/August 2006. The request must reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Science, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi 110 029 on or before 17.02.2006. Money order/Cheque/Postal order/ Cash or any other form of payment will NOT be accepted for postal sale. The words Request For Application Form For MBBS Entrance Examination 2006 should be written on the envelope-containing request for application form, and also on top of the request letter. The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in Capital Letters and with PIN code. AIIMS Forms will not be responsible for delay in/non-receipt of Application Form caused by illegible or incomplete address.

Important:

Candidates must obtain application forms ONLY from an authorized branch of S.B.I. or by post from Examination section of AIIMS. Forms obtained from an unauthorized source will be rejected

Candidates are advised to procure blank application forms as early as possible instead or waiting for the last date. If the Application Forms are sold out before the last date of sale and the same are not available, AIIMS/State Bank of India or its specified branches will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to non-availability of forms. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (Bcece)-2006

Applications on prescribed forms are invited for appearing in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)-2006 for selection of candidates for admission to the FIRST YEAR of the following Degree Courses :

Engineering / Pharmacy Stream : Degree Courses in the Govt. / Govt. Recognised Technical Institutions of Bihar and Technical Institutions outside Bihar (State Quota).
Medical Stream : MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ B.Ph.T./ B.Th.O. in Government Colleges of Bihar and in other similar courses of this stream.

Agriculture Stream : Degree Courses of Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa.
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2006 will be held in two stages. The first stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 26.02.2006 and the second stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 16.04.2006.

Category wise prescribed Application Forms have specified colour strips on the top of the front page with application numbers falling within specific number blocks.

The amounts indicated in the above table include the price of one Application Form inclusive of the Prospectus and the Examination Fee per candidate for appearing in PCM / PCB subject group. In order to appear in Biology alongwith PCM or in Mathematics alongwith PCB, section 6.3 of the prospectus of BCECE-2006 must be referred to.

Each candidate must ensure that he is purchasing the prescribed Application Form appropriate to his category in which he proposes to appear in BCECE-2006 and also the Application number is falling within the corresponding number blocks as mentioned in the above table. It is important to note that use of wrong Application Form will lead to its rejection.

Request for forms by post will be entertained only up to 25.01.2006. A maximum of 20 application forms may be obtained on one Bank Draft. The Bank Draft issued by any Nationalised Bank, must be in favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board payable at Patna.

Minimum Age limit : (i) For Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream, there is no minimum age limit (ii) For Medical Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, 2006 and (iii) for Agriculture Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 1st July, 2006.

Completed application forms must be sent by registered post / speed post only and must reach the office of the controller of examination, BCBCEB, IAS association building (near Patna airport)[PO]- veterinary college, patna-800 014. Latest by 07.02.2006 5.00 p.m. application forms sent by any other mode will not be accepted. In no case completed application form will be received in BCBCEB board office by hand.

Candidate must note that in no case, last date for receipt of completed application form will be extended.
