Admission Notification for five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme

Hidaytullah National Law University, is a Residential University established under the Chhattisgarh Act No. 10 of 2003. The University is recognized u/s. 2(f) & 12B of the UGC Act, 1956. Applications are invited for B.A. LL.B. (Hons), LL.M. and Ph.D. (Law) for 2006-2007. Applicant should have passed higher secondary school examination (10+2 system) or equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate before 1st July, 2006 (those appearing for the examination in March/April, 2006 can also apply). Applicant must be below 20 years (SC/ST candidates below 22 years) as on July 1, 2006. There are only 80 seats, out of which 40 for domicile candidates of chattishgarh and 40 seats for other States. National Entrance Test will be held on 28-05-2006.Application form and Bulletin can be obtained from the University from 06-02-2006 by paying D.D. of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “The Registrar, HNLU, Raipur”. Schedule of written examination:

The written examination for Group D posts advertised against Notice no.01/2005 of employment news dated 29.10.2005 will be held from 11 am to 1 p.m. as per following schedule.

Note: No request for duplicate call letter will be entertained unless the applicant the applicant is carrying a photocopy of the application form as mentioned of our notification no, 01/2005 of employment notice dated 20.10.2005.

Call letters have been dispatch/are being dispatched to Prima Facie eligible candidates through UPC (Under Postal Certificate) post. RRC/NR will not be responsible for postal delay or wrong delivery. Intimation for rejection has also been sent to inelligible applicants.

It there is any minor change in their call letters with regard to Name, Fathers Name, Date of birth, Photographs, Community etc., the candidates may in writing bring it to the Notice of RRC through post indicating their roll No as reference.

Those candidates who do not receive call letters should approach RRC, Lajpat nagar-1, New Delhi-24 in person for duplicate Call letters on the dates mentioned above (between 10 A.M to 05.30 P.M.) along with two passport size photograph as affixed on the application.

Duplicate call letters will be issued only to those candidates whose name appears in our master list.

GATE 2006 Admission Notice

Admission to Postgraduate Courses (Master’s and Doctoral) in the country, with MHRD and other Government Scholarsips / Assistantships, in Engineering / Technology / Artitecture / Pharmacy / Science is open to those who qualify in GATE.

Important Dates

20.09.2005 = Commencement of sale of information brochure and application forms/ Online submission of application forms

Eligibility: The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE 2006.

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Artitecture / Pharmacy and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes;

(b) Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in teh final or pre-final year of such programmes;

(c) Candidates in the second or higher year of Four-year Integrate Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering / Technology or in the third year or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s Degree Programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering / Technology;

(d) Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC / AICTE (e.g. AMIE) as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Those who completed Section A or equivalent of such professional course are also eligible.

There are two different processes by which a candidate can apply for GATE 2006, namely, “online” and “offline”. For general category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 900 for the online process and Rs. 1000 for the offline process. For SC/ST candidates, the fee is Rs. 400 for online and Rs. 500 for offline. The application fee is not refundable.

Online submission of application forms can be made by accessing the IIT and IISc CATE websites (gate.iisc.ernet.in; http://www.iitb.ac.in/gate; http://www.iitd.ac.in/gate; http://www.iitg.ac.in/gate; http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate; http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in; http://gate.iitm.ac.in; http://www.iitr.ernet.in/gate). The candidate should pay the Application Fee through an SBI ATM or through a Demand Draft in favour of ‘IIT Kharagpur’ on any nationalized bank payable at ‘Kharagpur’. The candidate should submit the payment details while filling up the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print of the Online Application Form after successful submission of data. The printed form, with candidate’s signature and photograph at appropriate places, and the Demand Draft / original ATM transaction-slip must be sent ONLY to The Organising Chairman, GATE, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur 721302.

Offline process involves procuring the Information Brochure and Application Form on payment of cash from the designated Bank Branches. Candidates can also obtain the Information Brochure and Application Form by Post from / or personally at the GATE offices. For this purpose a Demand Draft is to be sent for the amount as above to the Chairman, GATE of the corresponding zone GATE office, along with a request letter and two self addressed slips. Filled in Application Form along with the bank pay-in-slip / receipt of payment from GATE office must be sent to the respective zonal GATE office depending on the examination city where the candidate wishes to appear.
