B Tech (Information and Communication Technology)

The Four-Year B Tech Program is unique in the emphasis it lays on the convergence of information and communication technologies and their interface with other disciplines. Eligibility and Admission Criteria:
Candidates should be born or after 01 October 1982 and should pass by June 2007 10+2 years of schooling with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Computer Science.
Candidates should appear in the AIEEE 2007 examination being conducted by CBSE on 29 April 2007
Candidates should submit separate Application to DA IICT in the prescribed form
The short listed candidates will be called for counseling at DA IICT and will be offered admission in order of their merit based on the All-India rank of AIEEE 2007

In compliance of the directive of the Govt. of India, Deptt of secondary and Higher Education Ministry of Human Resource Development, the CBSE will be conducting the Sixth All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination 2007 (AIEEE 2007) for admission to degree level courses in Engineering and Architecture in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Deemed Universities and Institution in the Centre / States / UTs other than those covered by Joint Entrance Examination / State Level Entrance Examination paid or unpaid seats based on the scores. Delhi College of Engineering - Combined Entrance Examination CEE 2006

The Combined Entrance Examination, CEE 2006, will be conducted on May 30, 2006 by University of Delhi only for the Delhi Category seats (85%) for admissions to DCE and NSIT.

For the Outside Delhi Quota Seats (15%), the admissions will be made through Central Counselling by Central Counselling Board, CCB of AIEEE on the basis of merit ranks in AIEEE-2006 being conducted by CBSE. Outside Delhi candidates are advised to appear in AIEEE-2006 for admission to Outside Delhi Quota seats in DCE and NSIT.

The eligibility conditions for Delhi and Outside Delhi Quota seats will be the same.
