The Banaras Hindu University will hold an All India Entrance Test for admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences (BAMS) and BPharma (Ayurvedic) courses on Sunday the 20th May, 2007 on its campus at Institute of Medical Sciences (Varanasi- 221005)

Eligibility:
Qualification: Intermediate 10+2 (or equivalent from recognized Board) in Science with 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

How To Apply:

Marking Scheme for JEE Written Test: For each question you will be awarded one mark if you have darkened only one bubble corresponding to the correct answer. In case you have not darkened any bubble or have darkened more than one bubble, you will be awarded zero mark for that question. There will be negative marking to the extent of half mark for darkening a wrong bubble. There will be no negative marking for Aptitude for Service Sector.

Result of Written Test: Result of Written Test shall be announced on the web site of the National Council by the last week of May, 2007.

Commencement of Academic Session: Academic Session 2007-2008 will commence on 16th July, 2007 in all the affiliated institutes.

Eligibility:
Minimum Qualification: Minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2007 for being considered on provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the allotted Institute at the time of admission. Admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents to be produced by the candidates at the time of admission in Institute. Even after admission to an Institute, if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of having submitted false information or testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his/her admission will be cancelled and the fee deposited will also be forfeited. Decision of National Council regarding the eligibility shall be final.

Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/ State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

Any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in foreign country recognized by the Association of India Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.

H.S.C. Vocational Examination.

Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects.

Age Limit: For candidates from General and Physically Handicapped categories, only those whose date of birth falls on or after July 01, 1985 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years. For these two categories (SC & ST) candidates, born on or after July 01, 1982 will be eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/ Pre-University Certificate is the only authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of counseling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for provisional admission.

Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given in this Brochure at the time of admission.

Exam Details: This is to notify that the University of Rajasthan will hold Pre-PG Medical Examination-2006 amongst eligible candidates for admission to Postgraduate Medical (MD/ MS/ Diploma) Coursed on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Jaipur. This examination will be held in two shifts (9.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 12.30 PM to 2.30 PM). Details of eligibility criteria, syllabus of examination and probable number of available seats are provided along with application form.

How To Apply: The application forms and instructions can be obtained w.e.f. January 18, 2006 from the office of the Principals Medical Colleges at Ajmer/ Jodhpur/ Bikaner/ Kota and Udaipur or from the office of the Convener, Pre-PG Medical Examination-2006, Department of Mathematics, and University of Rajasthan Jaipur-302004 on payment of Rs.200/- (Rs. Two hundred only) in cash or by post on payment of Rs. 250/- (Rs.Two hundred fifty only) in the form of Bank Draft payable at Jaipur in favour of Convener, Pre-PG Medical Examination, 2006 along with a self addressed slip of 3×5. Application form can also be downloaded form website with web downloaded application form submit an additional bank draft of Rs.200/- towards application form fee.

Exam Details: Applications on prescribed forms are invited by Government Of Bihar Bihar, Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, I.A.S. Association Building, Near Patna Airport, Patna-14 for appearing in the Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT)-2006 for selection of candidates for admission to the FIRST YEAR of the various Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma Courses in Government Medical Colleges of Bihar. The Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT)-2006 WILL BE HELD ON 5th March 2006.

How To Apply: Information Brochure and Application Forms are on sale from 10th Jan 2006 and can be obtained up to 15th Feb 2006 from any one of the following Institutions: (I) Patna Medical College, Patna; (ii) Nalanda Medical College, Patna; (iii) Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga; (iv) A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya; (v) S.K.Medical College, Muzaffarpur; (vi) J.L.N. Medical College, Bhagalpur on submitting an account payee Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand) only for a set of one application form and prospectus. A maximum of five application forms may be obtained through one bank draft. The Bank Draft must be in favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board (PGMAT) payable at any nationalised Bank in Patna. Completed application forms must be sent by registered post/ speed post only and must reach the office of the controller of examination, BCECEB, IAS association building (near patna airport), p.o. - veterinary college, patna-800 014. Latest by 20th Feb 2006 (5.00 p.m.) application forms sent by any other mode well not be accepted. In no case completed application form will be received in bcece board office by hand.

Important Dates: Date of examination is 5th March 2006. Information Brochure and Application Forms are on sale from 10th Jan 2006 and can be obtained up to 15th Feb 2006. The last date for submission of application form is 20th Feb 2006.
