Exam Details: Applications on prescribed forms are invited by Government Of Bihar Bihar, Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, I.A.S. Association Building, Near Patna Airport, Patna-14 for appearing in the Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT)-2006 for selection of candidates for admission to the FIRST YEAR of the various Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma Courses in Government Medical Colleges of Bihar. The Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT)-2006 WILL BE HELD ON 5th March 2006.
Eligibility: For information refer to prospectus or contact the Controller of Examination, BCECE Board (PGMAT) at the above mentioned address or visit the website www.bceceb.org.
How To Apply: Information Brochure and Application Forms are on sale from 10th Jan 2006 and can be obtained up to 15th Feb 2006 from any one of the following Institutions: (I) Patna Medical College, Patna; (ii) Nalanda Medical College, Patna; (iii) Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga; (iv) A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya; (v) S.K.Medical College, Muzaffarpur; (vi) J.L.N. Medical College, Bhagalpur on submitting an account payee Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand) only for a set of one application form and prospectus. A maximum of five application forms may be obtained through one bank draft. The Bank Draft must be in favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board (PGMAT) payable at any nationalised Bank in Patna. Completed application forms must be sent by registered post/ speed post only and must reach the office of the controller of examination, BCECEB, IAS association building (near patna airport), p.o. - veterinary college, patna-800 014. Latest by 20th Feb 2006 (5.00 p.m.) application forms sent by any other mode well not be accepted. In no case completed application form will be received in bcece board office by hand.

The application form with information brochure for these Tests can be had across the counter on cash or by post for Rs.(Application Fee + 100) at the following addresses and also at respective colleges.
The Demand Drafts for the information brochure and for the Test Fees should be drawn separately on any Nationalised Bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd., in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University payable at Pune. Money should not be sent by Money Order. The candidate should write his name and the name of the Entrance Test at the back of D.D. and also give his detailed address with a Pin Code number separately on a sheet of paper. University shall not be responsible for any postal delay and loss.

Exam Details:
Arunachal Pradesh Entrance Examination is conducted by the North-East Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST). The academic programmes offered in the institute are in the Engineering / Technology and Applied Science streams which offer admission in Base, Diploma and Degree Modules in Technology are: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Agricultural Engineering. Computer Science Department offers admission to Diploma and Degree Modules only. Department of Applied Science offers admission to Base Module of two years and Degree Module of four years in Forestry.

(a) The application form along with information brochure for each module can be obtained in person from NERIST from 17th Jan 2006 to 17th March 2006 on payment of Rs. 50/- in cash, or by post from 17th Jan 2006 to 10th March 2006 by sending a Bank Draft for Rs. 90/- (Rupees ninety) drawn in favour of Director, NERIST payable at SBI, Nirjuli, (Branch Code No. 9535), and a self addressed unstamped envelope of size 27cm x 12 cm, from Member-Secretary (NEE) NERIST, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh-791109
(b) The application forms will also be available from the Directorates of Higher/Technical Education of respective North Eastern States from 17th Jan 2006 to 07th March 2006 on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) through Bank Draft in favour of Director, NERIST payable at SBI, Nirjuli, Branch Code No. 9535© Fee for each application form is to be paid separately,
(c) The application form/ admit card/ acknowledgement card and Information Brochure can also be downloaded from NERIST web site www.nerist.ac.in. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/Handicapped) is to be paid along with the application form. However, a non-refundable fee of Rs.650/-(Rs.200/-for SC/ST/Handicapped) shall be payable along with application form down loaded from NERIST web site.
Application forms received without requisite examination fee and stamped envelope will be summarily rejected without assigning any further clarification.
Important Dates:
(1) Candidates appeared/appearing in the qualifying examination for NEE-I/NEE-II/NEE-III may also apply.
(2) Application forms duly filled in must reach NERIST on or before March 17, 2006. Applications received late or incomplete will not be entertained.
Reservation and Allocation of Seats: 80% of total seats are allotted at the rate of 10% each to the eight NE States and will be filled as per the reservation policy of respective State Governments. 10%seats shall be filled on all India basis as per reservation policy of Central Govt. Remaining (7%) seats will be filled on merit basis from permanent residents (PRC holders) of eight north eastern states including 3% reservation for physically handicapped with 40-75% locomotor disability.

Exam Details: C-DAC centres at Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai intend to recruit IT/ Computer professionals from D-level/ G-level candidates of CST-2006 examination with requisite qualifications. Vacancies are currently available at various C-DAC centres and also at Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). CST-2006 EXAMINATION HAS Four Levels of Examination: E (Entry Level), I (Intermediate Level), D (Diploma Level), G (Graduate Level). For Admission to PGDST & FPGDST (2006) Courses of C-DAC Juhu, Mumbai, Admission to these courses are regulated through the E or I level examination of CST (D/ G levels also eligible). C-DAC Kharghar, Navi Mumbai & C-DAC Electronics City, Bangalore (formerly NCST): E or I Level (D & G also eligible). Admission to MCA Course of Goa University: E or I or D Level. Admission to MCA Course of Bangalore University at Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore: E or I Level. Cash Awards in each level (E, I, D & G): Top 1% all Level.
Eligibility: A degree in any subject or engineering diploma as recognized by a state government or the central government. Final-year degree students can also appear for CST 2006 subject to the condition that proof of their qualifying for the Degree shall be produced by end December 2006. Software Competence required for appearing for CST ranges from no training (E level) to a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology (G level).
How To Apply: CST Brochure is available on payment of Rs.100/-from C-DAC Offices at Mumbai, Kharghar (Navi Mumbai), Bangalore (Electronics City) & all leading book stalls. To get brochure by speed post, send Rs.150/- by D/D in favour of C-DAC, Mumbai. Application Forms: Form A1: should be filled by those candidates who wish to appear for CST 2006 examination for the first time or for those seeking improvement of earlier CST scores. Form A2 should be filled by candidates who do not wish to appear for the current CST-2006 examination though would like to be considered for courses/ recruitment based ONLY on their earlier CST scores. This option may not be available for next year. Candidates are urged to apply online. In extreme cases candidates may use the appropriate application form (A1 or A2) given in website www.cdacmumbai.in brochure or a photocopy of it. The application forms may also be downloaded from the website http://www.cdacmumbai.in/education/cst/. Read the instructions in Appendix H carefully before filling the forms. The application form is available on the website at http://www.cdacmumbai.in/education/cst/. It is recommended that candidates fill up the form online. On submission of the form online, a Registration number will be assigned to the applicant by the system. The applicant must write the level of examination they are appearing for, his/her name and the registration number on the reverse of the Demand Draft. The Demand draft along with three passport size photographs should be sent so as to reach C-DAC Mumbai before the last date. Candidates must write the name on the back side of each copy of the photograph. Candidates must provide a password of their choice when they fill in the application form so that they can access their data subsequently. They can query the status of their application and other details such as CST ID number etc. online, by specifying their Registration number and Password. To reduce chances of misuse, candidates are advised to select a password that is not easily guessed by others. Do not use your name, date of birth, etc. as passwords. CDAC locations at Juhu-Mumbai, Kharghar-Navi Mumbai and Electronics City-Bangalore provide the facility to apply online. Addresses of these locations are given in Appendix B broacher. Submission of completed forms: It is Strongly recommend that you apply online and the bank draft covering the fees be sent to C-DAC Mumbai for processing. Application form must be submit with three identical copies of a recent passport-size photograph with name written at the back side must be submitted along with the application form. Candidates or their representatives may submit the application form in person, on all working days (Monday to Saturday), at C-DAC, Juhu, Mumbai between 9:30am and 4:30pm. Exam Details: Applications on prescribed forms are invited for appearing in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)-2006 for selection of candidates for admission to the FIRST YEAR of the following Degree Courses: (A.) Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream: Degree Courses in the Govt./ Govt. Recognised Technical Institutions of Bihar and Technical Institutions outside Bihar (State Quota). (B.) Medical Stream: MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BPhT/ BThO in Government Colleges of Bihar and in other similar courses of this stream. (C) Agriculture Stream: Degree Courses of Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2006 will be held in two stages. The first stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 26th Feb 2006 and the second stage Examination is scheduled to be held on 16th April 2006.
Eligibility: For educational and residential requirements and other terms and conditions, see details in the Prospectus of BCECE-2006. Minimum Age limit: (I) For Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream, there is no minimum age limit (ii) For Medical Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, 2006 and (iii) for Agriculture Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 1st July, 2006 .

1. Candidates must have passed Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University for admission to 1st year of BTech/ BPharm/ BArch/ BHMCT as per subjects prescribed by AICTE/ Council of Architecture.
2. Candidates must have passed 3 year degree course with Mathematics as one subject at 10+2 level or at degree level for admission to 1st year of MCA and 3 year degree course in any discipline for admission to 1st year of MBA.
3. The candidates must have passed Diploma Course recognized by the Board of Technical Education, UP with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for admission to 2nd year of BTech /BPharma courses.
4. The candidates possessing three year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central Govt/ Slate Govt. provided the candidates passed the Diploma Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible for admission to First year of B.Arch. only. Such candidates have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of BArch papers (paper 2 & 6) mentioned above.
5. The candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in SEE-2007 subject to the condition that they will fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of counselling.
6. The details of admissions for NRI and Kashmiri migrants will be published later, in the month of May, 2007 according to the norms to be laid down by the Govt. of UP/ AICTE.
7. This admission test is open only to the candidates who and/or whose parents are domicile of UP.

Exam Details: Applications are invited for admission to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from 01 Aug 2006. Total 130 candidates (including a maximum of 25 girls) will be selected. All the 105 boys and 25 girls admitted to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune have compulsory liability to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services on graduation. The type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and merit-cum-option at the final MBBS examination. The liability of the SSC officers passing out of AFMC to serve the Armed Forces Medical Services would be seven (7) years. All candidates admitted to the college are required to execute a bond to this effect for an amount of Rs. 15 lacs (Rupees Fifteen lacs) at the time of joining the college. Students removed from service liability due to any reason will have to pay the bond money as per conditions laid down by Govt of India. Ten seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates who also have similar service liability and have to fulfill the requirements of medical fitness, age, educational qualification and qualifying the entrance examination.
Eligibility: Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/ premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. A graduate of B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany or Zoology) and also must have passed the earlier qualifying examination i.e. XII standard/Pre professional (Med) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained marks as stated above.

1) Candidates who are to appear in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) upto 06 May 2006 may also appear for the test provisionally,
2) The following categories of students are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply:-
a) Candidates who have passed in Domestic Science, Domestic Arithmetic, Lower Maths separately or in combination with other subjects like General Science, Social studies in High School/ Higher Secondary (Multi Purpose) or equivalent examination
b) Candidates who have passed only Pre-University/Pre-Degree (one year course) or Pre-Professional in Agriculture/Veterinary/Dental Examination
c) Candidates who have passed the Pre-Professional or equivalent qualifying examination as private candidates.
Age Limit: Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2006 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1985 and not later than 31 December 1989, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent. A candidate who has passed B.Sc. examination or will be appearing in final B.Sc. examination and seeks admission must not have attained the age of 24 years on 31 December 2006 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1983.

Candidates selected in the written test, will be called for interview at PUNE in the month of June 2006. No TA/DA would be admissible to the candidates either for written test, interview or at the time of reporting for admission. The Govt will provide free accommodation and entitled rations, subsidised messing, second class railway fare from college to home and back during vacations, a book subsidy of Rs. 8,000/- during entire training period, uniform allowance of Rs. 2500/- per student during first year and Rs. 500/- per year as maintenance allowance in subsequent years and any other miscallowances as applicable. All candidates should be medically fit as per laid down standards for the Armed Forces. Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during the course is not permitted. The college is fully residential both for boys and girls.
