1. Applications are invited from eligible candidates from Karnataka and the wards of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants for registration for the Common Entrance Test 2006 for admission to first year Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy/ Unani/ Naturopathy & Yoga/ Engineering/ Technology courses and Aptitude Test 2006 for admission to first year Architecture course in Government/ University/ Private Aided colleges, and also for the seats filled by the State Government in Un-aided minority & non-minority institutions on the basis of consensus* between the Government and the Institutions which are specified by the Government by notification for the academic year 2006-07.

2. The merit will be determined in accordance with the provisions in the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government Seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006.
