Applications are invited for admission to the XIII batch of the following two full-time two year (Four Semester) Professional Programmes, beginning in July, 2007:
MIB - Master of International Business
MHROD - Master of human resource and organizational development

Eligibility: Bachelors Degree in any discipline from the University of Delhi or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/CW/ PH candidates. Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply. Reservation of sears for SC/ST/CW/PH/ Foreign candidates are admissible as per the University rules.

Test Centres: The Common Entrance Test will be held on Sunday the 4th February, 2007 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Guwahati. The Department can change / cancel any test center.

Placement: Students of the previous batches have been placed in leading organizations through campus selection.

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course is a much sought-after course nowadays. The MCA course of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) is a prestigious one. The common entrance examination for MCA course, NIMCET 2007, conducted by the nine NIT`s will be held on May 20. This year NIT, Durgapur, is conducting the examination.

The nine NIT`s conducting the three-year course are Calicut, Tiruchirappalli, Allahabad, Bhopal, Durgapur, Raipur, Surathkal, Warangal and Jamshedpur.

Candidates with 60 per cent marks (6,5/10 CGPA) in bachelors degree of full-time three-year duration from a recognized university with mathematics / statistics / business mathematics as one of the subjects in any one semester / year, both at the graduation and 10+2 levels are eligible. For SC/ST candidates, the percentage of marks required is only 55 per cent (6.0/10 CGPA).

Those candidates appearing for final-year degree examination can also apply.

However, they will have to furnish proof of having passed the qualifying examination with 60 per cent marks at the time of counseling / admission. All 20 NITs in the country and Kolkata will be test centres. NIT, Calicut (NIT-C) is the test centre in Kerala.

There are about 480 seats for the course spread across nine NITs.

The sets are likely to go up to 600 seats in order to cater to the OBC reservation stipulated by the Centre. Also, all the seats are likely to be made all-India ones. A final decision on this would be known later.

Completed applications should be sent on or before March 23 along with the application fee of Rs.700 (Rs.350 for SC/ST) in the form of a crossed demand draft drawn on State Bank of India, RE College Branch or any nationalized banks in favour of Convenor NIMCET 07 payable at Durgapur.

Applications in the prescribed format, only from Indian Nationals are invited for NIMCET 07, a common entrance test for admission to MCA programme of 2007 08 offered by 9 NITs located at Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirapalli, Warangal.

Eligibility Candidates with an aggregate of 60% marks [6.5/10 CGPA] in Bachelors Degree of full time 3 Years duration from a recognized University with mathematics / statistics / maths as one of the subjects in one semester / year both in graduation and at 10+2 level are eligible.
