Ohio University Christ College Academy (Ohio-Christ Academy) has announced admission for the Ohio University MBA programme for the academic year 2007-08. The full-time programme is being offered at the Christ College campus, Bangalore. Candidates with a degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

The Ohio Christ Academy accepts valid scores from GMAT or any other national Management Aptitude Tests. Filled-in application forms must reach the Academy Admissions Office on or before January 31 2007 (Early Admissions) or March 31, 2007 (Late Admission).

Short-listed candidates will be invited for a language proficiency test and personal interview. The interviews for early admissions cycle will be held in February 2007, and those for the late admissions cycle in April 2007. The Academy has introduced a hassle free procedure for candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience for its 2007 admissions. Relevant work experience includes planning and execution of any of the functions such as Procurement, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Quality and Information Systems in corporate, NGO or government set-up.

The new Special Executive Admission Process (SEAP) is designed to suit the convenience of those who want to take a break from work and study further. The candidates need not fill the application form in advance. They can now walk-in directly to the Academy Admissions Office at the Christ College campus with a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and discuss their plants with counselors to enroll into the MBA programme.

Applications are invited for admission to full-time MBA Programme 2007-2009 at Mesra, and our Extension Centres at Lalpur. For detailed notification please see website.

Eligibility: (A) Candidates must have appeared in CAT 2006. They must hold a Bachelors degree (minimum 10+2+3), or equivalent in any discipline recognized by UGC / Ministry of HRD / AIU, with 60% marks (50% for SC /ST) in graduation in aggregate of all subjects. They must also have minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) in Class 10 (all subjects) and Class 12 (best 5 subjects), Candidates graduating in 2007 can also apply, provided they can submit mark sheets by 30 September 2007. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment.

(B) They must have Verbal Percentile Score at least 40 (25 for SC / ST) and Total Percentile Score at least 40 (25 for SC / ST) in CAT-2006.

Selection Procedure: Counselling will be at our Centres at Jaipur, Noida, Mesra and / or Lalpur, and the schedule will be displayed on 7 March 2007 on our website. Provisional selections will be based on Total Percentile Scores in CAT-2006 of such candidates who have applied and fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above, due consideration being given to choice(s) of Place of Study made in application form. If seats remain vacant at any Centre, there may be subsequent notification on our website. No separate intimation will be send to candidates.
