Hindustan College of Engineering Admission for Aircraft Maintenance

Technology information, forecasting and assessment council under the department of science & technology. Government of India has selected Hindustan College of engineering to establish a center of relevance & excellence in aircraft maintained, jointly funded by DST/government of India, Hindustan College of engineering and industrial partners. The primary objective of this center of excellence is to turnout quality manpower with immense emphasis on-job training as per the requirement of the industry, preparing them readily employable in the aviation sector.

Short term, certificate and postgraduate diploma courses on various specialized online maintenance training will be offered at the center to meet the requirements of the aviation industry. Full Fellowship and Assured Placements

TDA is a joint academic venture of Sir Ratan Tata Trust and DHAN Foundation . It is a pioneer institute in Development Management Education, Trading and Research. Its mission is to groom young graduates as Development Professionals to take up challenging careers in development to work with disadvantaged communities.

PDM is a two-year residential programme with a unique mix of theory and practice. It equips the students with appropriate managerial techniques to deal with complex issues of development. This helps in effecting development programmes at various levels. The faculties are development practitioners with rich field experience.

Eligibility: Graduates or postgraduates in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent). Those completing their courses on 30 June 2007 can apply. Age : Below 26 years on June 30, 2007. Those working in development organizations are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship: Full fellowship is given to those who agree to serve designated organizations for three years after completion of PDM. The fellowship covers all fees, course materials, board and lodging.

University Grants Commission (UGC) - Selection and Awards Bureau

The University Grants Commission invited applications for the scheme for Award of Post Graduate Scholarships for Professional Courses for SC/ST candidates.

The Scheme has been initiated keeping in view of the social background of candidates from the deprived section of the Society and to provide them opportunity to undertake Post-Graduate Level studies in professional subjects like Engg. & Tech, Management, Pharmacy etc. (in Indian Universities and Colleges).

The objective of the scheme is to provide an opportunity to SC/ST candidates to undertake Post Graduate Level Studies in Professional Subjects at Indian Universities and Colleges.

The candidate should have graduate degree in the relevant subject and obtained admissible degree at the Post-Graduate Level in any of the professional subject in a recognized Universities / Colleges. The upper age limit for male applicants is 45 years as on 1st July on the year of and 50 years in the case of female candidates. The tenure of fellowship is for completion of Post-Graduation.

The value of scholarship shall be for professional course Rs.5, 000/- p.m. (M. Tech) with the Contingency of Rs.15, 000/- p.a. and for other courses Rs.3, 000/- p.m. with the contingency of Rs.10, 000/- p.a. respectively.

The application in the prescribed form given below, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (SA), University Grants Commission, UGC Block, Delhi University, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi 110021 duly forwarded through the University / Institute / College where the fellow desires to undertake Post-Graduate within one month after the date of issue of advertisement.

The selection will be made on the basis of merit and on the recommendations of the Selection Committee, constituted by the Commission. The decision of the Commission shall be final. Direct and incomplete applications will not be entertained. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
