Examination Notification April/May 2006(For private candidates):

The April 2006 examinations (except Engineering subjects) shall commence on 15th April 2006 for UG Courses and on 20th of April 2006 for B.Ed., B.PEd., M.PEd., and PG Courses.

The practical examinations will commence during the third week of March 2006 for U.G.Courses and fourth week of March 2006 for B.Ed., B.PEd., M.PEd., and PG Courses.

The candidates who have to attend practical examinations may contact the principal of the college concerned in advance for exact date and session of practical examinations.

The application forms to appear for the above degree examinations of April 2006 for private candidates (who have left the college after completion of the course) can be had either in person or by post from the principals of the concerned colleges by enclosing the self- addressed ten rupees stamped envelope (23cmx 13cm) with a requisition specifying course, year of admission and Register number.

The private candidates shall send the duly filled-in applications to the controller of examinations, Bharathiar University directly along with necessary fees after obtaining the signature of the principal in the application form. The details of the fees to be paid can be had from the concerned principal. The fees shall be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “he Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore -641 046, payable at Coimbatore.

Last dates for receipt of filled-in applications with necessary fees in the office of the Controller of Examinations, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore -641 046 from the private candidates are:

Eligibility and Selection:

GATE qualified 1st Class Engineering/ Technology graduates in any branch. GATE qualifiers get Teaching Assistantship.
