Selection Procedure
The Institute follow a three tier system:
· Screening of applicants being done on the basis of their respective competitive exams like MAT & CAT scores.
· Candidates with scores meeting GIMT standards are called for group discussion to assess their team playing and communication skills.
· Candidates finally appear for their personal interview with the expert committee. The purpose of the interview, in general is to measure aptitude, subject knowledge, business awareness, communication and problem solving ability of the applicant.
· Work experience will also be given adequate weightage in the selection process.
Or
· GIMT written test to measure career aptitude, language mastery and business awareness of the applicants.
· Candidates with scores meeting GIMT standards are called for group discussion to assess their team playing and communication skills.
· Candidates who have been screened through the written test and group discussion should be called for interview. The purpose of the interview, in general is to measure aptitude, subject knowledge, business awareness, communication and problem solving ability of the applicant.
· Work experience will also be given adequate weightage in the selection process.
