Admission season in capital will begin with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducting its entrance examinations across the 75 centres in India and abroad. The entrance exams will be conducted from May 15 to May 18. Dates for talent Exam Announced New Delhi: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) announced dates for its National Talent Search Examination for 2007. It offers 1,000 scholarships for students of Class VIII and X. According to an official release issued by the NCERT, as per the new scheme from this year, students will be offered scholarship from Class VIII and Class X. Seats are also reserved for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Mutyalaraju Reva, who is from Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, topped the 2006 Civil Services Examination in which eight women figure in the top 20. Announcing the final results today, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recommended 474 candidates, including 101 women. Reva is from the backward caste community.
