Indian Railways has asked the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-Delhi) to carry out a security audit of the Old Delhi Railway Station. Minister of State for Railways R. In a bid to revamp security, Northern Railways has sought help from IIT-Delhi to carry out an extensive survey of its railway stations. Against the backdrop of the Samjhauta Express blasts, the Northern Railway and IIT-Delhi have joined hands to revamp security at important railway stations to prevent any future terror attacks.
