International Institute of Information Technology-Admission Notice June 2006 Session

International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) is an autonomous institute with a state-of-the-art fully-residential campus in Rajiv Gandhi InfoTech Park in the knowledge city of Pune. IIIT is one of the largest graduate schools in Advanced IT and has been rated by Dataquest-IDC-Nasscom Survey as one of the top Technology Schools in India. For June 2006 Session, IIIT invites applications for admissions for its following industry acclaimed autonomous programs.

Programme in Advanced Information Technology MS

This 18 months, full-time, residential, course, designed by IT Technologists and Academics focuses on current technologies in IT, Telecom, Networking and other emerging areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Students are exposed to state-of-the-art tools and software from SAP/SAS/TIBCO and CA.

Computational Fluid Dyanamics (CFD) is a revolutionary form of technology, which numerically simulates fluid flow over a virtual geometry. CFD enables engineers to predict fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, chemical reactions (explosions) and related phenomena. CFD has become an integral part of the engineering design and analysis environment of many companies because of its eligibility to predict the performance of new designs or processes before they are manufactured or implemented.

Designed by IT technologies and academicians, the course is designed to equip students in areas of Advanced computing in the areas of CFD, Advanced supercomputing and parallel Mathematical modeling, Software engineering, equality ad testing and Data management and Data mining techniques.

MS Program in Automotive Engineering

This 12 month MS Program is conducted in collaboration with and accredited by Lawrence Technological University, USA. 12 months in USA including internship and 9 months in India.

Designed to create researchers, designers and innovators for the next generation automotive technologies that will have a high integration of electronics, control and software, the program intends to create industry-ready engineers for the national and international automobile and auto-component manufacturing sectors.

Students will be equipped in the areas of Automotive Control Electrical Systems, Power Train Systems, Advanced Quality Control, Emission Control Systems Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Micro-Controllers and PLDs.

Eligibility for MS Program:

Applicants should be a B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/ MS (in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Instrumentation/ Electrical /Electronics/Civil/Chemical/Computer Science)/M.Sc (Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry) or its equivalent and having a minimum of 60% marks at graduation/Post graduation level. All applicants must have knowledge of C programming. For Automotive Engineering, candidates will have to submit valid TOEFL cores during their stay at IIIT.

MSc in International Business with focus on Management

This 18 month full-time residential program including 4 months of internship in Europe is accredited by ESEO ESSCA.11 months in Hungary and France and 7 months in India.

With focus on International Business IT Management in Europe , this unique M Sc Program is designed and delivered by academics from France India. This Program will help students develop skill sets that will make them successful International Project Managers/Business Unit Manager/Supply Chain Manager in International IT Companies.

Eligibility for Management Programs

Graduates with a recognizes degree Bachelors Degree from any discipline and Mathematics at 10+2 level with minimum 50% aggregate scores. GMAT TOEFL scores are necessary for the Dual Country MBA Program.
