   i hav got 38 in maths n 66in chem n 53 in physics im frm cbse school i studied in kv5 gwalior
   so ma ovrall %was 60 bt ma pcm%was abt 52%
   so im i eligible for enginneering in this college
   i hav a doubt tht becoz of ma bad performance in maths vl i bee knocked dwn
   i hav sent ma maths marks for revalutn

In a move directed against the educational. institutions having sub-standard facilities, the governor and chancellor of U.P.state universities, T. V Rajeshwar Rao, cancelled the affiliation of 20 B. The Supreme Court on 23 Sept 05 has permitted member colleges of the All India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association to admit students on the basis of their 10+2 marks to engineering seats left vacant after the accommodation of all Common Entrance Test (CET) qualifiers. However, these 1,560 colleges will have to abide by the higher standards, if any, prescribed by the governments of the states in which they are located. The conflict between the Council of Architecture (CoA) and the Ministry of Human Resource Development over the authority on admissions into Architecture colleges is snowballing into a major controversy even as the admissions in the State are set to begin on August 27. The CoA has frozen admissions in three of the seven Architecture colleges in the State citing the reason that they had not facilitated inspection for the courses for 2007-2008. Anna University is considering a proposal to introduce an annual ex-lamination pattern for the first year of engineering courses, the University Vice Chancellor, D. Viswanathan, has said.
