Description: DNB studies in the following subjects (Seats): General Medicine (2), General Surgery (2), Anesthesia (2), Gastroenterology (1), Surgical Gastroenterology (1).

Eligibility:
(1) For DNB Medicine/ Surgery/ Anesthesia: (A) Candidate should have passed Primary DNB Examination or CET- NBE. (B) Candidates possessing Diploma in Anesthesia (recognized by MCI / University) are also eligible for applying for DNB Anesthesia. (2) For DNB Gastroenterology: Candidate should be a Postgraduate in General Medicine / Pediatrics. (3) For DNB Surgical Gastroenterology: Candidate should be a Post graduate in General Surgery. Remuneration to selected candidates will be as per stipend structure laid down by the National Board of Examinations.

How To Apply:
Application forms will be available at Jagjivanram Hospital, Maratha Mandir Marg, Mumbai-400008, from 9th Jan 2006 to 16th Jan 2006, on payment of Rs. 200/- (in cash only). POSTAL REQUESTS FOR APPLICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. CHEQUES / DRAFTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Completed application forms should reach the hospital office latest by 16.00 hours of 17th Jan 2006. The hospital will not be responsible for any postal/ courier delay. Serving Medical Officers in Railways/ Government organization /Public Sector Undertaking etc. should apply through proper channel and produce a “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview. Schedule for Selections: Aptitude Test: (For Broad Specialties). DNB Medicine on 24th Jan 2006, from 10.00 am onwards. DNB Surgery on 25th Jan 2006, from 10.00 am onwards. DNB Anesthesia on 27th Jan 2006, from 10.00 am onwards. WRITTEN TEST & INTERVIEWS: (For Super specialties) Written examination for Gastroenterology and Surgical Gastroenterology will be held no 30th Jan 2006 at 9.30 a.m. The interview of the short listed candidates will be held on the same day from 13.00 hours onwards. Note: (1) Candidates are not entitled for any passes/ remuneration to attend the examination / interview. (2) No separate intimation will be given to the candidates for the examination/ interview/ selection results. (3) Selected candidates have to pay the full annual tution fees of Rs. 15000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) (in cash) to the Railways before joining their respective courses, failing which the next candidate in the merit list will be considered. (4) The administration reserves the right to short list candidates for interview/ Aptitude test.
