Details: The Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh and its constituent center Jaypee Institute of Engineering & Technology, Raghogarh, Guna, Madhya Pradesh are sponsored by Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan, and fully backed by the Jaypee Group of Companies, which recognizes the role of IT and emerging technologies in improving the quality of life of the people in India. Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Himachal Pradesh has been established under Act. 14 of 2002 of the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh as a Centre of Excellence in IT education. Jaypee institute of Engineering & Technology, Guna, M.p, has been established under an agreement with the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and started its academic session from July, 2003.
