Programs
National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) is a sector-specific management institute. Modeled on the lines of IITs and IIMs, it was established to provide Education, Training, Research and Consultancy services for Tourism, Hospitality and related industries in India and abroad.
The USD 7.0 million Institute, located at Gachibowli, Hyderabad on a 30-acre campus has been promoted jointly by ministry of tourism govt. of India and govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
The Institute has tie-ups with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and Osmania University (OU) Hyderabad for its academic programs.
Eligibility:
MBA (Tourism & Hospitality)
Program 60 seats per batch
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and qualified in CAT / MAT / ATMA / XCET / ICET or equivalent entrance examination conducted in 2005 / 06. Candidates appearing for final examination can also apply.
MS (Tourism & Hospitality) 5 year integrated program 60 seats
Applicants should have passed +2 stage of 10 + 2 system or equivalent examination in any stream with English as one of the subjects. Upper age limit: 22 years
Admission Process
Meet the eligibility criteria
Secure the prospectus & application form from Chairman, NITHM, Telecom nagar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad 500032 (AP), in person by paying Rs.800/- drawn in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad. Alternatively downloaded from NITHM website: www.nithm.ac.in and submitted along with a DD for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad.
Submit the filled in application with enclosures within the due date.
Come through the selection process
Hostel accommodation is for outstation candidates, on first come first serve basis.
