Invites applications for One year career oriented Multi disciplinary Diploma in Tourism & Event Management

About NITHM: National institute of tourism & hospitality management jointly promoted by ministry of Tourism, govt. of India and govt. of Andhra Pradesh is established for promoting quality and entrepreneurship in human resources for tourism & hospitality and allied sectors. Deemed University status to NITHM is under consideration.

About the program: The program is modular in nature with 2 semesters extendable to third semester leading to advanced diploma. Candidates will be eligible for a certificate of an each semester. Initially, diploma will be awarded after 2 semester. The selected candidates will get the tuition fee waiver of Rs.40, 000/- pa as the program is supported by NCRI.

Eligibility: Graduates preferably from rural colleges having aptitude / experience in tourism or NGOs with English language skills are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit: 25 years. The selection would be based on test, group discussion and interview.

Reservation: Reservation for the course will as per government of India norms for central universities.

Application: The application kit can be obtained directly from NITHM upon payment of Rs.500/- in cash or application can be downloaded from our website: www.nithm.ac .in by sending a DD for Rs.550/- in favour of national institute of tourism and hospitality management payable at Hyderabad from 10 august 2006.

All filled in application with relevant enclosure should reach NITHM on or before 28th August 2006. Test/interview 7/8 September 2006. Commencement of course: 14th September 2006.
