Against the backdrop of the Samjhauta Express blasts, the Northern Railway and IIT-Delhi have joined hands to revamp security at important railway stations to prevent any future terror attacks.
There is an urgent need to look up at all these stations especially after the Samjhauta blasts since many of these are too old and do not have the complete security arrangements as they were not built in accordance with that, CPRO Rajeev Saxena said.
He said a team of experts, led by Prof D T Sahni from IIT-Delhi, has been constituted to carry out a security audit in the Railways.

Tele-Health Technology Course
Admission is now open for the fifth Tele Health Technology Course jointly organized by Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation and Anna University. The course will be conducted from July 31 to August 14 at Anna University and Apollo Hospitals between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Applicants must have a degree in Science/ Engineering/Medicine. A total of 50 seats are available.
