Selection Procedure of I.A.F. Airman (Tech. Trades) Exam Exams in India

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates will be called for a written test in:

a. English;

b. Intelligence and General Awareness;

c. Mathematics; and

d. Science.

Questions in these tests will be of Objective Type and bilingual, i.e., in Hindi and English. Candidates are required to qualify in each part. Results will be declared on the same day and successful candidates will have to immediately appear for the Trade Allocation Test.

Selection Procedure for I.A.F. Airman (Non-Tech. Trades) Exam

Selection Procedure Eligible candidates will be called for written test in English Intelligence and General Knowledge. Questions in these tests will be of Objective -type and Bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi. The candidates will be required to qualify each part separately. Results will be declared on the' same day and the successful candidates have to immediately appear in a Trade Allocation Test.

Eligibility Conditions Unmarried Indian citizens (subjects of Nepal also) are eligible. a. Essential Qualifications: Candidates should have passed Matriculation/equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate. b. Age Limits: 16 to 19 years. c. Physical Standards: i. Minimum Height: 152.5 cm. ii. Chest Expanded chest measurement should not be less than 75 cm with minimum range of expansion of 5 cm. iii. Weight: Corresponding to height and age. iv. Vision: At least 6/ 12 in each eye without glasses or 6/6 in better eye and 6/36 in the worse eye without glasses, correctible to 6/6 in each
