Integrated Ph.D. Programmes in Physical Sciences 2007.
Post M.Sc. Ph.D. Programme 2007
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics with at least 55% marks (completed or appearing).
Eligibility for Interview: JEST / NET JRF score of 2007 (score may be provided later if not available before the deadline.
Desired field of Study: The candidates are required to mention in the application which research area among the following he / she would like to be considered for admission.
Active Research Areas at the Centre: Astrophysics & Cosmology (Theory) Considered Matter Physics & Physics of Materials (Theory & Experiment), Highly Energy Physics & Mathematical Physics (Theory), Quantum Optics & Quantum Information, Soft Condensed Matter, Chemical & Biological Physics (Theory & Experiment) and Statistical Physics & Complex Systems (Theory)
Interview of Shortlisted Candidates: 14, 15 & 16 June 2007 in Kolkata
Monthly Stipend: As per CSIR (JRF) scale for first two years then upgraded to SRF scale.

Post B.Sc. Integrated Ph.D. Programme in Physical Sciences 2007
Qualification: B.Sc. in Physics (Honours or Major) with Chemistry, Mathematics or Statistics (or similar combination without Honours, if Honour was not available), with at least 55% marks (completed or appearing)
Eligibility for Interview: JEST / JAM / NGPE score of 2007
(score may be provided later if not available before the deadline)
Interview of Shortlisted Candidates: 14, 15 & 16 June 2007 in Kolkata
Monthly Stipend: Rs.5000 for selected students in the first two years, then upgraded to CSIR (JRF) scale on completion of M.Sc. degree
