Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Second year of the two years Pre-University Course of Karnataka or its equivalent examination with the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology Subjects.
Candidates desirous of seeking admission to the Under-graduate degree programmes should have compulsorily taken the COMMON ENTRANCE TEST conducted during 2006 by the CET Cell, Karnataka. The University does not conduct separate Common Entrance Test for admissions. Candidates who have not taken Common Entrance Test - 2006 of CET Cell, Karnataka are not eligible for admission as already notified in the Notification No. R/UAS(B), (D) & KVAFSU (Bidar)/ UGAdmn/ 2006-07 dated 3.3.2006 published in leading newspapers on 05.03.2006.
In addition to 2nd year PUC Marks, the CET marks obtained from CET Cell, Karnataka in the subjects of PCMB shall be considered for admission. However, for admission to seats reserved for Agriculturists/ Children of Agriculturists, a Practical Test will be conducted by the University.
Reservation of Seats: Excluding the All India quota under ICAR, New Delhi, and reservation of seats for various categories will be made in accordance with the existing reservation policy of Government of Karnataka. Provision is also made for admission to the Kashmiri Migrants. There is also provision to admit Foreign Nationals/ NRIs/ Children of NRIs on payment of Institutional Economic Fee. However, taking Common Entrance Test conducted by CET, Cell, Karnataka is not required for Kashmiri migrants/ Foreign Nationals/ Children of NRIs / ICAR candidates.
How To Apply:
The filled-in application should be submitted to THE REGISTRAR, UAS, GKVK, BANGALORE-65 ONLY on or before the last date. Late and incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. The Admission is governed by Govt. Orders/ UAS Act (1963) / Statues and UAS(B) Regulations issued from time to time. Refer prospectus for other details and all other conditions prescribed therein are also applicable, Login at http://uasbng.kar.nic.in for details. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Candidates seeking applications through post may send their requisition along with Demand Draft and a self-addressed envelope (12″x10″ size) affixing a postal stamp of Rs. 50/-.
