Eligibility: (a) The candidates, who have passed final MBBS examination from a recognised medical college, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, are eligible. The candidates should have obtained registration either from Medical Council of India or authorised State Medical Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship. Such candidates will be considered eligible. (b) The candidates, who possess Indian Nationality, with a proof in the form of Nationality Certificate / valid passport, are eligible to appear for PG AIET. NRI candidates, who have passed from MCI recognised medical colleges, are also eligible for PG AIET Examination. (c) The candidates, who are still undergoing one-year compulsory rotating internship or are likely to complete it by 31st March 2006, will be permitted to appear for PG AIET. His / Her selection will be subject to completion of compulsory rotating internship of one year and registration before 15th April. He / She will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which, his /her application shall be rejected.
How To Apply: Information Brochure, with application form, can be obtained (a) from the Vidyapeeth office by paying Rs. 500/- in cash or by a demand draft; or (b) (If required by post /courier) by sending to the Vidyapeeth office a demand draft of Rs. 750/-; or (c) by downloading from Vidyapeeth website. Despatch the completed form to the Vidyapeeth with a DD of Rs. 2500/-. DDs to be drawn on any nationalized bank, in the name of the “Registrar, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth,” payable at Pune.
