Examination: The Combined Entrance Examination consists of objective type question in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (Combined).
Eligibility:
The candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination from the recognised School/ College/ Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defence)/ Physically Handicapped category). The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the CEE-2007.
Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 1st October, 200
Reservation of seats:
1. 15% seats for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% seats for scheduled Tribes.
2. 5% seats for Children / Widows of Personnel of Armed / Para Military Forces killed / disabled in action during hostilities (CW).
3. 3% seats for Physically Handicapped (1% for persons with low vision or blindness, 1% for hearing impaired, 1% for those with loco motor disabilities and / or cerebral palsy),
4. The reservation of Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates as per the Government of India directives is currently being processed. Percentage / number of seats and modalities of such reservation will be notified separately in due course.
Note: All candidates (viz covered under General /SC/ST / CW / PH Category) will be required to appear in the Combined Entrance Examination CEE-2007.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi will conduct 11th All India Competitive Examination for filling up 15% of the total number of seats in 41 Agricultural Universities in 10 subjects of Under Graduate degree Programmes including Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries Science, Forestry, Home Science, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science & Technology and Agriculture Marketing Banking & Co-operation, and 100% of the seats at National Dairy Research Institute, Kamal (Haryana) in Dairy Technology. There will be no direct nomination of any candidate for admission in any Under Graduate degree programme.

National Talent Scholarship: To promote agricultural education in the country, National Talent Scholarship @ Rs.1, 000/- per month shall, be awarded to all the finally admitted candidates who join any University? Which is not within the domicile state of the candidate.
Scheme of Examination: There will be only one question paper consisting of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Agriculture for STREAM - A and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for STREAM - B. The candidates may choose any Stream according to their eligibility and choice of the subjects. The question paper will be bilingual i.e. ENGLISH and HINDI.
Reservation of Seats: There would be reservation of seats for admissions in all the subjects to the extent 15% for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 3% for Physically Handicapped candidates, and 2% for candidates from Underprivileged states (UPS) as defined in the Information Bulletin.
Eligibility:
The candidate must be at least 17 years of age but not more than 23 years on or before 31st Dec 2006. No relaxation of age will be allowed to candidate of any category. He/ she should be an Indian National. He/ she must have passed and obtained not less than 50% (for General and UPS Categories) and 40% marks (for SC, ST, and PH categories) in 10+2 examination. Any candidate having compartment/ supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 is not eligible for admission. One who is appearing for 10+2 examination in the year 2006 can also apply subject to his/ her producing 10+2 passing certificate on the date of Counseling. Pass in English in 10+2 examination is essential for admission in some of the Universities.

Eligibility:
(I) Age: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2006. (Candidates born after 31st December 1989 need not apply).
(II) Minimum Qualification:
MBBS and BDS: The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/Intermediate examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board / University and must have passed in all the above subjects. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% in lieu of 50% for general candidates.
BAMS and BHMS: The candidates who have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/Intermediate examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be eligible. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination (XII) and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in the common entrance examination but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination (XII) on and before the date specified in the information brochure.

Information Bulletin Plus Application Form (separate for each Course) can be obtained only from the Entrance Test Cell, Office Of The Controller Of Examinations, Bhu, Varanasi - 221005, either on cash payment of Rs. 30/ - (Thirty only) from 11 AM to 3 PM on working days OR
By registered post by sending \ a written request mentioning name, course i.e. Undergraduate or Postgraduate, postal address & details of crossed MICR Demand Draft along with :
(i) A crossed MICR Demand Draft issued by any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank for Rs. 100/- (One Hundred only) in favour of the Controller Of Examinations, Banaras Hindu University, payable at Varanasi, indicating name and course on its reverse
(ii) A self-addressed unstamped envelope of the size 32cm x 26cm.
Note: (1) Test Fee shall be charged along with the application form as per details in the information Bulletin.
(2) Foreign nationals are exempted from appearing in Entrance Test and are required to collect their forms from the International Centre, C/3/3, Tagore House, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi - 221005.

How To Apply:
The prescribed Application Forms and Guide to Admissions 2006-07 which contains the details of the courses may be obtained from the Assistant Controller (Admissions), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh -202 002 on payment of the cost of the form as given below either in cash or through crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh payable at the State Bank of India, AMU Branch, (Code 5555) Aligarh. A Self addressed envelope of 30 x 25 cms in size affixing postage stamps of Rs 85/- shall also be enclosed with the request for obtaining the Application Form and Guide through Registered Post.
The requisitions along with the crossed Demand Draft towards the cost of Form and a self addressed stamped envelope as mentioned above should reach the Assistant Controller (Admissions), AMU, Aligarh 202002 at least one week before the last date so that the Application Form and Guide may be sent to the candidates in time.

The prescribed Application Form and the Guide to Admissions will be available after 23.01.2006. The prescribed Application Form for admission to M. Phil. / Ph. D. shall be available in the month of May 2006. The Special Information Bulletin and the Application Form for admission of Foreign Nationals / NRIs shall be available in the month of February2006.
