Exam Details:
The Banaras Hindu University will hold an All India written test for admission to MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) course in the subjects - Basic Principles (Ayurveda Darspan & Siddhant and Sharir Kriya), Dravyaguna, Kayachikitsa (Chikitsa & Manas Boga), Kaumarbhritya, Prasuti Tantra (Stree Roga), Rasa Shastra, Shalya Tantra and Shalakya Tantra] on Sunday the 25th June, 2006 on its Campus.

Eligibility:
(a) BAMS recognized by CCIM
(b) MBBS recognized by MCI (for supernumerary category only)
(c) The candidate must have completed 12 months rotating internship (4 ½ years BAMS course)/ 6 months rotating internship (5 years BAMS course) by 31st July 2006.

Age: The Upper age limit for admission will be 35 years (40 years for SC/ST and Sponsored candidates), on 31st July 2006.

How To Apply:
Application form can either be downloaded from BHU website http://www.bhu.ac.in/notification/k2004/MDMS%20-2006-form.doc) (www.bhu.ac.in) or can be obtained from the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi-221005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with a demand draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of the Director, IMS, BHU, payable at Varanasi along with two self addressed white paper slips of 6 cm x 10 cm in size. Moneyorder and cheque will not be accepted. The envelop should be clearly superscribed Application for MD(Ay)/ MS(Ay) Entrance Test - 2006, BHU. The application form can also be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 100/- from the counter of the main Post Office on the BHU Campus (Near Kendriya Vidyalaya, BHU) between 10th Feb 06 and 15th April 06. The last date for submission of completed application accompanied by DD/Bankers Cheque of Rs. 800/- is 18.04.06 upto 5.00 PM. The Institute will not be responsible for loss of application form in transit.

Important Dates:
The request for application form by post must reach on or before 1st April 2006. The last date for submission of completed application is 18th April 06. Date of exam is 25th June 2006.
