Candidates who are pursuing Post Graduate Course after being selected by UPPGMEE/ AH India Pre Medical/ Dental Entrance Examination shall be eligible, only if he/she has resigned and the resignation has been accepted by the Principal of the concerned Medical/Dental College and has refunded the stipend received by him/her during the said course before the notification of this examination.

5. Candidates must have completed compulsory rotatory internship by 1st May, 2007.

6. Vertical reservation for SC, S.T., & O.B.C. and Horizontal compartmentalized reservation for Physically Handicapped category shall be applicable as per Govt. directives. Candidates who wish to avail the benefit of reservation in physically handicapped category must obtain certificate by appearing before
Special Medical Board constituted by D.G.M.E. at Govt. Medical Colleges, Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Meerut, Kanpur and K.G. Medical University, Lucknow on 13 & 14 October, 2006.

Entrance Test Notice for Admission to BSc (Hons.); Bio-Tech and M.Sc. (Bio-Tech) Course at SILB (Solan)

An MCQ type competitive test for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Bio-Technology and M.Sc. Bio -Technology will be held on 16.7.2006 in the morning and evening sessions respectively for admission to above courses in Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The number of seats in B.Sc. (Hons) Bio Technology will be 50 and for M.Sc. Bio-Technology the number of seats will be 40 out of which 10 seats in each course will be subsidized Merit seats for HP. Bonafide/ Domicile candidates passing qualifying examination from Himachal Pradesh Schools or from State Universities located in Himachal Pradesh. Rest of the seats in both the above courses is Non-subsidized seats and the same will be filled from H.P. / Non-HP. Candidates on the basis of this test. For B.Sc. (Hons) Bio-Technology the candidates should have passed 10+2 (class twelveth) Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board/ University with any of the three subjects out of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Bio-Tech, Computer Science, Biology with 50% marks or equivalent grade. (For SC/ST candidates marks of eligibility will be 45% or equivalent grade).

For M.Sc. (Biotechnology) the candidates should have passed Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern of Education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, 4 years B.S. f. Your photograph will be taken using digital camera,

Application by Post: Candidates who desires to apply through postal mode, have to fill in the application format (For format download Application Form) affix two recent passport size photographs in the space provided (one should be attested) and Signature at the appropriate space. The completed application should be sent to Anna University along with the Demand Draft and a self addressed, stamped (Rs.5/-) envelope (of size 11 cm X 27 cm) for sending the hall ticket by post. For receiving the hall ticket by speed post affix required stamps. Postal Applications duly filled by the candidate should reach The Secretary, TNPCEE 2007, Anna University, Chennai - 700 025 on or before 2.5.2007. Write the name of the examination city where the candidate desires to write the examinations and HSC registration number and year on the top left comer of the postal cover. Exam Details: MD-PhD Super-specialty Program has been initiated to promote State of the Art interdisciplinary research in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi.

Eligibility:
Minimum qualification is MD or MS or equivalent examination as per MCI norms.

How to Apply:
Application forms will be available in the office of the undersigned on cash payment of Rs. 975/- (Rupees Nine Hundred and Seventy Five Only) from 11.03.2006 to 25.03.2006

Can be downloaded from the above website and sent with a demand draft of Rs. 975/- (Rupees Nine Hundred and Seventy Five Only) in favour of Coordinator, MD-PhD Entrance Examination-2006 payable at Lucknow.

Last date of receipt of completed application forms in the office of the undersigned is 25.03.2006 upto 5.00 PM forms received after that shall not be accepted.

Important Dates: The entrance examination & interview will be held on 8th & 9th April 2006 in King Georges Medical University, Lucknow
