UP Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 2007 (UPPGMEE-2007)

Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut

Applications are invited for UPPGMEE-2007 to various MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Courses of 2007 in the K.G. Medical/ Dental University, Luck now and in the U.P. State Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur and Meerut.

Eligibility:
1. Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS Course from the State Medical College of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Meerut and KG. Medical/Dental University, Lucknow and recognized Private Medical/Dental Colleges of U.P. or

2. Candidates who have passed MBBS from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, and are bonafide residents of U.P. and selected at the time of undivided Uttar Pradesh before appointed day (i.e. 9-11-2000).

3. Candidates who are pursuing PG Diploma Course in any subject shall be eligible, with the condition that he/ she will be considered for the Post Graduate Degree Course in the same subject only.

4. Candidates who are pursuing Post Graduate Course after being selected by UPPGMEE/ AH India Pre Medical/ Dental Entrance Examination shall be eligible, only if he/she has resigned and the resignation has been accepted by the Principal of the concerned Medical/Dental College and has refunded the stipend received by him/her during the said course before the notification of this examination.

5. Candidates must have completed compulsory rotatory internship by 1st May, 2007.

6. Vertical reservation for SC, S.T., & O.B.C. and Horizontal compartmentalized reservation for Physically Handicapped category shall be applicable as per Govt. directives. Candidates who wish to avail the benefit of reservation in physically handicapped category must obtain certificate by appearing before
Special Medical Board constituted by D.G.M.E. at Govt. Medical Colleges, Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Meerut, Kanpur and K.G. Medical University, Lucknow on 13 & 14 October, 2006.

8. UPPGMEE-2007 examination shall be held on 4th February, 2007 (Sunday)

How To Apply:
Application forms can be obtained from the office of the USHA SHARMA [Co-ordinators (UPPGMEE- 2007)] on payment of Rs. 675/- as cash or in the form of Bank Draft in favour of Co-ordinator UPPGMEE- 2007, Medical College Meerut. Application forms will be available from 16.10.2006 to 15.11.2006. Application form can also be obtained by post by enclosing Demand Draft of additional Rs. 50/- as postal charges.

Application forms duly signed by the concerned Principal along with all the necessary certificates should reach the office of the undersigned latest by 5.00 PM. on 20-11-2006 by registered post.

An MCQ type competitive test for admission to Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda (MD/MS) Courses in Rajiv Gandhi Govt. PG Ayurvedic College, Paprola-176115 Distt. Kangra (HP) for the session 2006-2007 will be held in Himachal Pradesh University Campus at Summer Hill, Shimla-5 on 8-10-2006.

(b) Ayurvedic Graduates of Himachal Pradesh University who are also bonafide residents of HP. as per Group-I, Remaining 50% seats in each course will be filled up through open competition on All India basis from the candidates outside the State of HP. as per Group-II.

Eligibility:
(i) A degree in Ayurveda of 5 1/2 Years minimum duration (including rotatory internship) from recognised University.

(ii) Only such In-Service regular Ayurvedic Medical Officer (HPAMO) will be eligible who have rendered five years service including adhoc service, if any, out of which at least three years service should be in rural areas or two years service in Tribal/ Hard Areas.

How To Apply:
For more details, consult the prospectus available at the Enquiry Counter of the University during working days on cash payment of Rs.900/-(Rs. 450/- in case of SC/ST candidates) which also includes test fee.

A copy of prospectus can also be obtained by post (Registered) by remitting Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST candidates) through crossed IPO’s / Demand Drafts drawn in favour of Finance Officer, HP. University, Shimla-5. The request for supply of prospectus by post alongwith required fee as above be addressed to the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests Cell) H.P. University. Summer Hill. Shimla-171005 Money orders will not be accepted.

No request for sending the prospectus by post will be entertained after 7-9-2006. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay, mis-placement or loss of prospectus in transit.

The candidates are also advised to send two self addressed stickers properly pasted with gum in case they are to obtain prospectus by post.

Important Dates:
Entrance Exam Date: 8-10-2006.

The last date for receipt of application form in the University Office duly completed in all respect is 18-09-2006.

Counselling: The counselling for the qualified candidates will be held on 30-10-2006 at Rajiv Gandhi Govt. P.G. Ayurvedic College, Paprola, Distt. Kangra. HP. All disputes are subject to legal jurisdiction of Courts at Shimla only.

How To Apply: Information Brochure and Application Forms are on sale from 10th Jan 2006 and can be obtained up to 15th Feb 2006 from any one of the following Institutions: (I) Patna Medical College, Patna; (ii) Nalanda Medical College, Patna; (iii) Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga; (iv) A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya; (v) S.K.Medical College, Muzaffarpur; (vi) J.L.N. Medical College, Bhagalpur on submitting an account payee Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand) only for a set of one application form and prospectus. A maximum of five application forms may be obtained through one bank draft. The Bank Draft must be in favour of Controller of Examination, BCECE Board (PGMAT) payable at any nationalised Bank in Patna.
