Exam Details: University of Pune, Department of Computer Science is conducting entrance exam for Admissions to MCA, MSc, MTech, 2006.

Eligibility: For MSc / MCA: Mathematics at 10+2 level and graduation in Science or Engineering with minimum 50 % marks for open category candidates and passing marks for reserved category candidates. And for MTech: GATE score in Engineering or any Mathematical or Physical Sciences or UGC/CSIR JRF qualification, valid in July 2006.

How To Apply: Application kits can be obtained in person or by post. Fee (application kit + exam fee): Rs 575/- (Rs five hundred seventy five only). To obtain application kits in person: Starting Monday, 7 November, 2005, available at Department of Computer Science, University of Pune, Ganeshkhind, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm every day except Sundays. If you bring cash instead of a DD, you will have to deposit it in the University bank branch (timings 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays, up to 1:00 pm on Saturdays). To obtain application kits by post: Write to Head, Department of Computer Science, University of Pune, Ganeshkhind, Pune - 411 007. Must Enclose (1) Demand Draft for Rs 575/- in favour of Registrar, University of Pune, payable at Pune (2) two slips 10 cm x 6 cm, with name and address in block letters (3) plain paper with name, address, payment details (DD no., bank name and date) (4) telephone number and e-mail id if available.

Important Dates: Entrance Examination Date is February 26, 2006. Last date for receipt of completed applications: January 06, 2006, last date to pick up application in person: January 05, 2006. Last dates for receipt of postal requests: December 22, 2005.
