Exam Details: Joint Admission Test to MSc (JAM 2006) will be held on 26th March, 2006 (Sunday) for admission to Two year MSc programmes in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee). Three year post- BSc programmes (MTech in Applied Geology/ Applied Geophysics and MCA) at NT Roorkee and MSc - PhD Dual Degree programmes in Physics at IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur.

Eligibility: A candidate is required to qualify in the corresponding Test Paper and must also satisfy the minimum educational qualifications and eligibility requirements as specified by the admitting Institute. Reservation of seats for SC/ ST and PH category candidates will be as per Gov rules. Candidates appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree are also eligible to appear in JAM 2006.

How To Apply: Application Forms and Information Brochures can be obtained on payment of application fee of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates) during November 28, 2005 to January 6, 2006 from the designated branches of Canara Bank in the country. The application material can also be obtained by Post from JAM Office, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016 by sending a request along with a self-addressed slip and a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Chairman JAM, IIT Delhi payable at New Delhi, which must reach, JAM Office, IIT Delhi latest by December 23,2005. ONLINE REGISTRATION facility shall be available from November 28, 2005 at the website http://jam.iitd.ac.in.

Important Dates: Joint Admission Test to MSc (JAM 2006) will be held on 26th March, 2006 (Sunday)Last date for receipt of completed Application Form/ Online Registration Form at the Organizing Institute (IIT Delhi) is January 9, 2006.

JAM 2006 will have eight Test Papers, namely: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, MCA and Physics each of three hours duration. The Biotechnology and MCA Test Papers will be fully objective type while the other papers will be Objective-cum-Subjective type. Course: Advanced Diploma Course in Child Guidance and Counselling

Description: Advanced Diploma Course in Child Guidance and Counselling at its Headquarters, New Delhi (Regular course)

Admission is open to both men and women who fulfill the following criteria:
· Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology or Child Development from a recognised University, Or
· Graduate in Social Work/Psychology/Child Development from a recognised University with minimum five years of experience of working with children, Or
· B.Ed from a recognised University with minimum of four years of experience of teaching young children.
· Sponsored by organizations working in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health with minimum educational qualifications and work experience mentioned above.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test designed to assess general & social awareness and linguistic expression of the candidate followed by a personal interview.

Date & Venue of Written Test: Candidates found eligible would have to appear in a Written Test, at their own expense, to be held at NIPCCD Headquarters, New Delhi from 31 July 2007 to 1 August 2007.

Application form and the Prospectus can be obtained from Publication Officer (Room No. 003), National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, 5-Siri Institutional Area, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, on cash payment of Rs. 100/-.

In case, the application and the prospectus are required by post, the candidates should remit Rs. 150/- through a Demand Draft payable to NIPCCD at New Delhi, along with a self addressed envelope.

Application form and the prospectus can be collected from 25 June, 2007 and the last date of receipt of duly filled in Admission Form is 20 July, 2007.

The Prospectus and the form of the Course can also be downloaded from the Institute`s Website http://nipccd.nic.in. In that case the applicant would need to pay Rs. 100/- with the form either in cash or through a demand draft payable to NIPCCD at New Delhi.

Last date of receipt of duly filled in Admission Form is 20 July, 2007.

Note: The Course is yet to be approved by a statutory body/council.
