Exam Details: Entrance Examination (PGD-CET 2006) for Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) will be held on Sunday, 29th January, 2006 from 10.00a.m.-to11.30.a.m.

Eligibility: A candidate must be an Indian National. A candidate who has passed final BDS degree examination from a recognised Dental college situated in Maharashtra, affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities or to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and who has obtained full registration either from the Dental Council of India or from the Maharashtra Dental Council after completing one year internship training, will be eligible for PGD-CET 2006. A candidate, who is undergoing one year internship training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2006 also will be eligible for PGD-CET 2006. A candidate who is domicile of Maharashtra and who got admission under 15% quota of All India Entrance Examination for BDS and who has obtained the BDS degree from the University situated outside the state of Maharashtra and has obtained full registration either from Dental Council of India, New Delhi or from the concerned State Dental Council will also be eligible for PGD-CET 2006.

How To Apply: The cost of application form along with the Information Brochure of PGD-CET 2006 and Examination fee is Rs. 1800/- to be payable by Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn on any Scheduled commercial Bank in favour ofDirector, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. The Application Form and Brochure will be available at the following Government Dental Colleges from 5th Dec 2005 to 22nd Dec 2005. Application forms duly filled in alongwith attested photocopies of required certificates can be submitted from 5th Dec 2005 to 23rd Dec 2005 at any of the following Government Dental Colleges. Eligibility: (a) The candidates, who have passed final MBBS examination from a recognised medical college, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, are eligible. Such candidates will be considered eligible. (b) The candidates, who possess Indian Nationality, with a proof in the form of Nationality Certificate / valid passport, are eligible to appear for PG AIET. NRI candidates, who have passed from MCI recognised medical colleges, are also eligible for PG AIET Examination. (c) The candidates, who are still undergoing one-year compulsory rotating internship or are likely to complete it by 31st March 2006, will be permitted to appear for PG AIET. His / Her selection will be subject to completion of compulsory rotating internship of one year and registration before 15th April. He / She will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which, his /her application shall be rejected.

How To Apply: Information Brochure, with application form, can be obtained (a) from the Vidyapeeth office by paying Rs. 500/- in cash or by a demand draft; or (b) (If required by post /courier) by sending to the Vidyapeeth office a demand draft of Rs. 750/-; or (c) by downloading from Vidyapeeth website. Despatch the completed form to the Vidyapeeth with a DD of Rs. 2500/-. DDs to be drawn on any nationalized bank, in the name of the “Registrar, Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth,” payable at Pune. Eligibility:
(I) The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 to 22 years on or before the first day of the month, of the year of admission i.e. July 31st respectively. Age relaxation for SC/ST as per Govt. Rules

(II) Minimum Education:

10+2 class passed in each subject (theory & practical) separately or its equivalent with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with aggregate of 50% or more marks in PCB. English as a subject, till +2 (Pass) level is essential.

Those who have successfully completed ANM course (10+2) vocational revised after 2001 from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

Admission will be made on the basis of merit of the Common Entrance Test to be conducted by Delhi Nursing Council.

How To Apply:
Prospectus with application forms can be obtained from 10th March, 2007from School of Nursing on payment of Rs. 500/- on any working day between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Closing Date: 15 May 2007

Total numbers of seats are 30 (24 seats for Gen. Category, 6 reserved for SC/ST). If the seats are not filled in their respective category, it will go to Gen. Category.
