Applications are invited in the prescribed form All India Post Graduate Medical / Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE 2007) to be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday, the 13th January, 2007 for admission under open merit seats quota in various Postgraduate 9MD/MS/PG Diploma & MDS) courses in Medical and Dental Colleges in the country run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities.

Eligibility:
(1) Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
(2) The candidates must possess MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized Medical / Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 AND full registration either from the Medical / Dental Council of India or State Medical / Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship.
(3) Candidates who have obtained MBBS / BDS from Medical / Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply. However, candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare / D.G.H.S., New Delhi) to do MBBS / BDS from Medical / Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply, subject to submission of requisite documents specified in the Prospectus.
(4) The Candidates should complete the required period of 12 months pre 0- registration internships from a recognised Hospital on or before 31st March, 2007.

The Bank Draft issued by the S.B.I, should be drawn on State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687), New Delhi and should be valid upto March / April 2007. The request must reach the Assistant Controller of Examination, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi 110 608 before 03.10.2007. Request received thereafter will not be entertained. Money Order / Cheque/ Postal Order / Cash or any other form of payment will NOT be accepted for postal sale. The words 2007Request For Application Form For Aipgmee-20072007 should be written on the envelope containing request for application form, and also on top of the request letter. The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in Capital Letters and with PIN code. AIIMS will not be responsible for delay in/non-receipt of Application Form caused by illegible or incomplete address.
Important:
(1) Candidates must obtained Prospectus cum application forms ONLY from an authorised branch of S.B.I. or by post from Examination Section of AIIMS. Forms obtained from an unauthorised source will be rejected.
(2) Candidates are advised to procure prospectus cum application forms as early as possible instead of waiting for the last date. If the Application Forms are sold out before the last date of sale and the same are not available, AIIMS / State Bank of India or its specified branches will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to non availability of forms. In case a candidates does not get the form through Post Office in time, AIIMS will not be responsible for such lapses.

An objective type (MCQ) Entrance Test for admission to B. Pharmacy course in Government B. Pharmacy College, Rohroo, District Shimla (H.P.) for the session 2007-07 will be held on July 23, 2007 (Sunday) on behalf of the Director Technical Education, Himachal Pradesh at Shimla, Mandi, Dharamshala and Hamirpur Examination Centres for which the applications are invited from the eligible candidates on the orescribed form available in the Prospectus.
Eligibility:
(i) For admission to 85% State Quota Seats, the candidate(s) should be bonafide/ domicile of Himachal Pradesh. For admission to 15% All India Quota Seats, there is no such condition of domicile/bonafide of Himachal Pradesh.
(ii) Should be a pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects alongwith one of the following subjects: Mathematics/ Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
(iii) Age/Date of birth: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1981 are eligible. However, in case of SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years who were born on or after October 01,1976 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic.
How To Apply:
(i) By Cash: For prescribed application form and detailed information etc., the Prospectus can be obtained at the University, Sale Counter No,2, Administrative Block, Shimla-5 from 12.6.2007 to 30.6.2007 during working hours on payment of Rs.500/- for General & others categories, and Rs.250/-forSC/STcategoriesonly.
(ii) By post: The requests for supply of the Prospectus by post can only be addressed to the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests) H.P. University, Shimla-171005 accompanied by crossed IPOs/Bank Draft amounting to Rs.550/- in case of General & other categories, and Rs.300/- for SC/ST categories only drawn in favour of the Finance Officer. No request for sending the prospectus by post will be entertained after 22.6.2007, while applying for supply of prospectus by post, the candidate must write the B. Pharmacy Prospectus-2007 is required and complete mailing address in capital letters alongwith telephone number be mentioned.
Important Dates:
The last date for receipt of application forms complete in all respects either by hand or by post in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests) is 30.6.2007 upto 5 PM where after no applications shall be accepted. By post application is to be despatched by Registered Post/Speed-Post only.

Entrance Test Notice for Admission to BSc (Hons.); Bio-Tech and M.Sc. (Bio-Tech) Course at SILB (Solan)
An MCQ type competitive test for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Bio-Technology and M.Sc. Bio -Technology will be held on 16.7.2006 in the morning and evening sessions respectively for admission to above courses in Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The number of seats in B.Sc. (Hons) Bio Technology will be 50 and for M.Sc. Bio-Technology the number of seats will be 40 out of which 10 seats in each course will be subsidized Merit seats for HP. Bonafide/ Domicile candidates passing qualifying examination from Himachal Pradesh Schools or from State Universities located in Himachal Pradesh. Rest of the seats in both the above courses is Non-subsidized seats and the same will be filled from H.P. / Non-HP. Candidates on the basis of this test. The test will be held in University Campus at Shimla.

For B.Sc. (Hons) Bio-Technology the candidates should not be more than 22 years in age as on 1st July, 2006.
For M.Sc. (Bio-Technology), the male candidates should not be more than 26 years and female candidates should not be more than 28 years in age as on 1 st July, 2006.
Educational Qualification:
For B.Sc. (Hons) Bio-Technology the candidates should have passed 10+2 (class twelveth) Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board/ University with any of the three subjects out of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Bio-Tech, Computer Science, Biology with 50% marks or equivalent grade. (For SC/ST candidates marks of eligibility will be 45% or equivalent grade).
For M.Sc. (Biotechnology) the candidates should have passed Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern of Education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, 4 years B.S. (Physician Assistant Course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with atleast 55% marks for general and other categories and 50% for SC/ST categories candidates from any University/ Institute recognized by the Himachal Pradesh University/UGC.
The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying Examination but whose results have so far not been declared can also apply but their eligibility for the Entrance Test will be purely provisional subject to the condition that they have to produce passing certificate scoring the percentage atleast prescribed thereto in the qualifying Exams during the day of Counselling.

Procedure for obtaining the prospectus: The prospectus containing details and prescribed application form will be available at the counter of H.P. University, Shimla and Schoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management Solan, H.P. w.e.f. 6-6-2006 on cash payment of Rs.800/-. For SC/ST candidates the price of the prospectus at counter shall be Rs.400/-. A copy of the prospectus can also be obtained by post (Registered) by remitting Rs.850/- (Rs. 450/-in case of SC/ST candidates) through crossed IPO2007s / Demand Draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, HP. Student Selection Process
Admission to Four-Year UG Programs in the above mentioned branches of the respective Institute for the 2006-07 will be made through Entrance Test (JET) conducted at select cities/towns throughout the country. Seats in all programs will be allotted in order of merit in this list and on the basis of the preferences of Campuses indicated in the application form. There shall be a separate merit list for the candidates who shall exclusively be appearing for Biotechnology Program run at JIIT Noida.
Number of Seats
The total number of seats for the academic year 2006-07 will be 660 for the 4-year programs, with 360 at Waknaghat and 300 at Guna. These numbers may change depending on the academic profiles of the candidates. The number of seats for Bio-technology at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida is 90. Students are offered an opportunity to opt for dual degree B.Tech, M.Tech programmes at the end of 4th semester. At JUIT, Waknaghat, 5% additional seats over and above the normal intake capacity will be allotted to bonafide students of the State of Himachal Pradesh who have passed the qualifying examination from institutions located in Himachal Pradesh. Exam Details: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has invited application for admission to MBBS Course commencing on 1st August 2006. Entrance examination will be held on 1st June 2006 (Wednesday). Application Forms, complete in all respects, must reach AIIMS, New Delhi latest by 5.00 P.M. on 24th Feb 2006
Eligibility:
(I) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% marks in case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English or whose results of Class XII are likely to be declared by mid July 2006 are eligible to apply.

The request must reach the Assistant Controller of examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi 110029 on or before 17th Feb 2006. Money order/Cheque/Postal Order/ Cash or any other form of payment will NOT be accepted for postal sale. The words REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM FOR MBBS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2006 should be written on the envelope containing request for application form, and also on top of the request letter. The address at which application form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS and with PIN code. AIIMS will not be responsible for delay in/non-receipt of application form caused by illegible or incomplete address.
