Those who have obtained their graduate / postgraduate degree with 50% marks or more from a recognised University under the 10+2+3 scheme and are desirous of seeking admission to the BEd programme beginning from June 2007 in the University-run college and grant-in-aid colleges as well as self-financing colleges affiliated to Sardar Patel University (as per the details given in the Prospectus) may apply for admission in the prescribed form.

How To Apply:
The application form can be collected in person by paying Rs. 200/- (Two hundred only) in cash from 2 January 2007 onwards from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm from Room No. 118, behind the University Office. Those who would like to receive the application form by post must send a demand draft of Rs. 225/- payable to Registrar, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar along with a 10×12 inch envelope with complete address and pin code. The form will be sent only by UPC. Applicants are’ required to send their completed applications to the Registrar, BEd Admission, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar – 388 120 so as to be received at the concerned office the latest by 31.01.2007. Those who intend to submit the application in person may do so in Room No. 118 behind the University Office. Applications received after 31.01.2007 will not be entertained at all.

Only those students who are appearing at graduate examination in April-May 2007 to be conducted by Sardar Patel University can apply enclosing the true copy of the marksheet of the degree examination latest by 17.6.2007. Application of graduates of this kind (fresh) from other Universities will not be accepted. Students including fresh graduates who would like to seek admission to the BEd (English) Programme run by HM Patel Institute of English Training and Research, Vallabh Vidyanagar shall take an obligatory Entrance Test on Sunday, 04.03.2007. Such applicants shall pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred Only) by Demand Draft in the name of Registrar, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Those who would like to submit the form in person will have to pay Rs. 200/- in cash for the said Test. All other details are provided in the Prospectus.
