Course: Entrance Examination (PGD-CET 2006) for Admission to Dental Postgraduate Courses Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)

Description: Entrance Examination (PGD-CET 2006) for Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) will be held on Sunday, 29th January, 2006 from 10.00a.m.-to11.30.a.m.

Fee:

Eligibility: A candidate must be an Indian National. A candidate who has passed final BDS degree examination from a recognised Dental college situated in Maharashtra, affiliated to Non-Agricultural Universities or to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and who has obtained full registration either from the Dental Council of India or from the Maharashtra Dental Council after completing one year internship training, will be eligible for PGD-CET 2006. A candidate, who is undergoing one year internship training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2006 also will be eligible for PGD-CET 2006. A candidate who is domicile of Maharashtra and who got admission under 15% quota of All India Entrance Examination for BDS and who has obtained the BDS degree from the University situated outside the state of Maharashtra and has obtained full registration either from Dental Council of India, New Delhi or from the concerned State Dental Council will also be eligible for PGD-CET 2006.

How To Apply:
The cost of application form along with the Information Brochure of PGD-CET 2006 and Examination fee is Rs. 1800/- to be payable by Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn on any Scheduled commercial Bank in favour of Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. The Application Form and Brochure will be available at the following Government Dental Colleges from 5th Dec 2005 to 22nd Dec 2005. Application forms duly filled in alongwith attested photocopies of required certificates can be submitted from 5th Dec 2005 to 23rd Dec 2005 at any of the following Government Dental Colleges. The application form should not be sent by post/Courier, such forms will be rejected without giving any intimation/reply. (1) Government Dental CoHege, Mumbai, (2) Government Dental College, Aurangabad. (3) Government Dental College, Nagpur.

Date for Sale of information brochure and application: 5th Dec 2005 to forms at G.D.C., Mumbai/ Nagpur/ Aurangabad 22nd Dec 2005. Submission of application forms: 5th Dec 2005 to at GDC, Mumbai/Nagpur/Aurangabad 23rd Dec 2005. Dispatch of Admit cards by Post: 16th Jan 2006. Date of Examination: 29th Jan 2006 (Sunday). Declaration of result on 15th Feb 2006.
