Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary-Class XII) examination or its equivalent referred to as a qualifying examination from a recognized Board/ University for admission to BE/ BTech, BArch & B Planning Courses as under: (1) Courses BE/ BTech, Compulsory subjects: Physics & Mathematics, One of the Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and (2) For Courses BArch/ BPlanning, Compulsory subjects: Physics & Mathematics, One of the Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Engineering Drawing. The candidates appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE provisionally subject to their fulfilling the specified eligibility conditions at the time of appearing for counselling. Admission to AIEEE is meant for Indian nationals only. Date of Birth: Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1981 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by five years meaning thereby candidates born on or after October 01, 1976 are eligible.

The Information Bulletin containing the Application Form and other details will be available for sale from 05th Dec 2005 to 10th Jan 2006 from designated branches of Syndicate Bank/ other Banks/ NITs/ Deemed Universities/ institutions and the Regional Offices of CBSE. Use of address of any coaching centre/ coaching Institution is strictly prohibited. On the basis of performance in AIEEE, separate rank lists will be prepared for BE/ BTech, and BArch/ BPlanning. Score Card indicating All India Rank with total marks and marks in each subject shall be sent to all candidates appearing in AIEEE. Candidates scoring above a certain cut off percentage of marks (being different for General and SC/ST/PH category candidates) to be called for counselling shall be determined at the time of declaration of AIEEE results. Admission Notice to BDS Course (NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign Students) through Joint Entrance Test-2006.

Five seats are reserved for NRI/NRI sponsored/Foreign students for admission to I BDS course through Joint Entrance Test-2006. in Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry for the academic year 2006-2007 as per the existing norms.

Admission qualification:

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (Academic) or equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects-English, Biology (Botany + Zoology), Physics and Chemistry.

Age Limit:

The age will be reckoned as on 31st December 2006. The candidates should be above 17 years and there is no upper age limit.

Joint Entrance Test (JET)-2006:

Candidates seeking admission to I BDS course under NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students quota for the academic year 2006-2007 should appear in the Joint Entrance Test (JET) (Paper II & III) to be conducted by the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Govt of Pondicherry. Admission Procedure:
