Any students who have taken B.Sc. degree with at least IInd class (48 %) by first trial will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. course according to their respective stream. Students who have cleared B.Sc. with Zoology, Botany, Microbiology subjects, as the second subject at S.Y.B.Sc will also be considered for admission, provided the seats are vacant.

Admission: Entrance test will be held on 05/06/2007 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interview for short listed candidates will be on 6th & 7th June 2007. The entrance test is compulsory and admission is granted purely on the merit of final year exam and entrance test followed by interview.

B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry Bioinformatics, Botany, Zoology, Bioscience, Life sciences, Agriculture, B. Pharm, Forestry, Fishery, M.B.B.S., and other related disciplines of the life science with at least 55 % at degree level would be eligible to appear in the entrance examination for the admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology programme.
