Description: Laboratory Course in Bio Techniques
Fee:
Eligibility: Anyone who has completed MSc (Life Science) or BTech (biotechnology) is eligible for the course. Other candidates from relevant background, like MBBS or B.Sc. biotechnology, can also be considered if they have specific career plans and interest. There is no age limit.
How To Apply:
Application forms can be
· Collected between 9am and 6pm, Monday-Saturday, at IBAB, Bangalore in person or
· by post,
On submission of DD of Rs.500/- (application processing fee) drawn in favor of “Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology” payable at Bangalore.
You can also download the application form in Word / PDF (Click here) format from here, fill the form and send it to Institute along with the DD of Rs. 500/-.
The completed application form will be processed only on receipt of the DD.

Description: Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics

Eligibility:
· A recognised bachelor’s or master’s degree i from any of the following disciplines - Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physic Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary and other Life science with minimum of 55% marks.
· Students awaiting their results can also apply, provided their average percentage of previous semesters/years is at least 55%.
Selection process
· Objective-type written tests will be held at six centers.
· Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
· Short listed candidates will be called for an interview (at their own expense) at Bangalore.

Admission Procedure
I. Application processing fees (non-refundable):
· Rs. 750/- for students from India
· Rs. 1500/- for NRI/Foreign students applying for the course
A DD for the above mentioned amount in favour of Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology payable at Bangalore, should be sent either with the request for application form (by post/courier) or with the filled in application form (if downloaded).
II. Application Form: The form can be
· Obtained by sending a request by post/courier along with a DD (as mentioned above in 1).
· Downloaded from here as a word document or PDF document.
The downloaded word document form can be filled up and sent as an attachment by e-mail and the DD and the other documents can be sent by post/courier. The form sent by e-mail will be processed only on receipt of the DD.
The downloaded PDF document form should be filled up and sent along with the DD and the necessary documents.
