Programmes
BE / B.Tech Programme (4 year programme)
Admissions shall be made on the basis of merit. In AIEEE 2007 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi on April 29, 2007
Programes: Chemical Engineering. Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics (Instrumentation and Control) Engineering, Mechanical * Duration of BE programme (Industrial Engineering) will be 5 years and on successful completion students will be awarded BE and MBA degrees:
BE/ B.Tech MBA programmes at the end of their 2nd year of BE / B.Tech Programme (only 80 seats are available for such candidates)
MCA / M.SC. (Biotechnology) Programme
Admissions to MCA / M.Sc (Biotechnology) Programme shall be made on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test to be conducted by TU, payable at Delhi and Patiala. The counseling for admission will be held at TU on July 13, 2007.
M.C.A. Entrance Test Saturday, the June 9, 2007 (9.30 A.M)
M.Sc. Biotech. Entrance Test Saturday, the June 9, 2007 (2.00 P.M)
M.Sc (Physics) M.Sc. (Chemistry) / M.Sc. (Mathematics & Computing)
Admission will be made on the meritof the Entrance Test to be conducted by TU at Patiala on June 24, 2007.
ME / MTech / PhD
Admissions to ME / M.Tech Programmes in the following disciplines will be made and preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates. The interview for GATE Qualified will be conducted on July 4, 2007. For Non-GATE Qualified, TU will conduct its own Entrance Examination at Patiala on July 5, 2007

Admissions will be made on the basis of entrance test to be conducted by TU at Patiala on April 21, 2007. Candidates appearing in CAT, MAT, XAT etc are not required to appear in Entrance Test.
Foreign Nationals / NRIs /FN Sponsored / NRI Sponsored seats are also available in the all the above programmes.
Admissions to Ph.D. program shall be made on the basis of interview to be conducted by TU on July 4, 2007

The forms can also be downloaded from our website, the downloaded forms duly completed must be sent along with the demand draft of Rs.1000/- (on US$ 35) in addition to the Examination fee (if any) in favour of the Registrar.
