The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks for each subject will be as follows:

There is a single paper for both the subjects of the Objective multiple Choice Type questions. Candidates are required to qualify in each of the two subjects separately.

The main Examination is intended to assess the overall intellectual traits and depth of understanding of candidates rather than merely the range of their information and memory.
The scope of the syllabus for the optional subject papers for the examination is broadly of the honours degree level i.e. a level higher than the bachelors degree and lower than the masters degree! In the case of Engineering and law, the level corresponds to the bachelors degree.

He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course.
